"Athletic physicals" seems like a pretty broad range of things.

An "athletic physical" at the doctor's office for playing 7th grade football is likely a lot different than being tested to fight for the WBC welterweight championship.

Then again, even if you are specific with your situation, it may be hard to answer such a question. Let's say you are worried about an athletic physical to play college tennis. Perhaps some colleges screen, while others do not.
