| I was just wondering if Probation used the EMIT or GC/MS test. I heard that the GC/MS is usually only used to verify positive EMIT tests. Is that true or do they use GC/MS tests from the start? Is there any way to pass the GC/MS test if I haven't smoked for 26 days (and only smoked for 1 week after being clean for 2 months before that)? Please help me if you can! Thanks! ![]() |

| YOu should hope that your jurisdiction does use GC/MS conformation and is will certainly NOT use it as a primary test. The dipstick test a lot of places use need to be confirmed. To many false possitives (and negitives, but we don't care about that). N2
