I thought this messageboard was very helpful when I was looking for information on passing my drug test (for weed), so I thought I'd share my experience and the results.

I found out I'd have to take a drug test about 3 days after I smoked, but I managed to put them off by saying I was "out of town for a couple days" for a funeral and would take it when I got back. On Memorial Day weekend, I smoked half of an 1/8 of weed (husband and I bought an 1/8, split it). Basically on Sunday night I smoked bongs and bowls all night long - Monday bongs all day long and Tuesday May 31st, I smoked my last bowl (and then some resin) late that evening. I did some research on how to pass the test, as I was really concerned I wouldn't make it. I am 5'2" tall and medium build - I have some extra pounds on me but not overweight. My metabolism is probably asleep, considering I never work out and I don't play sports. I used to smoke daily - all the time - for about 2 years. I quit about 2 months ago, and just smoked that one time over Memorial day weekend. I drank 120 ounces of water every day (just under one gallon) and that was it. Really. I have a 32 ounce water bottle at work, I would fill it up in the morning/afternoon and drink 3 of them before I left for the day over a span of 8 hours. Then at home I'd have more water when I ate dinner - about 24 ounces or so. I did this for 13 days straight. On the day of the test I drank 96 ounces of water during the course of the day, and bought a bottled water on the way to the test (about a 20 ounce size bottle). I took a vitamin mid-afternoon around 1:00pm, and the test was at 5:00pm. The vitamin "washed out" just as I was taking the test, giving the urine a nice yellow color so they wouldn't be suspicious. Everything went great - I got the results today and I passed the test. I know I didn't smoke a lot, but still I was nervous considering I only had 13 days to come clean AND I don't work out. Since I used to smoke religiously every day, I was a little concerned about that also.

Oh... and I forgot to add. My test was done by Quest Laboratories (I have failed their test in the past!) They told me I was getting an EMIT followed up with the GC/MS test. The EMIT cutoff was 50, the GC/MS cutoff was 15. Hope this helps someone

congrats. considering you smoked 3 days in a row and came clean in 13 days is amazing.
