I originally was going to drink detox, I sobered up for a week and bought a big red bottle of Strip NC from GNC for $50(worked for a heavy smoker friend from the past). After my 4th interview for work, I got hired and they told me to take a urine test 24hr from then. It was extremely tough to get the job so I didn't really want to take any chances, so I figured the only 100% way to pass is to substitute. I followed the substitue links info and got a small bottle, thermometer and practiced few times just incase the clinic might have people watch me from behind. I got my friend's piss and decided to get this test over with on the same day. I got a hot cup of water to heat up the urine before i went in, but it heated way to much. but it's all good. I didn't receive any paperwork after the test, just a couple of initials and signature. I guess test center varies on location.

Below were my posts before I started on the job, I was very paranoied during that period of time. But all the research on the website have paid off!!! I thank the website for helping me out, I truely appreciate it VERY VERY MUCH!

P.S after i started working I don't smoke as much as before by a lot(smoke 1 gram per day before). Mainly because i'm so tired from work that I'll Knock Out after 2 bong hits....but i can get way more things done than before. Just to let you guys know, sobering up a bit isn't all that bad. As long you have things to keep you busy.

I took the test today...I did a very stupid thing!

I choose the substitution method, got to the center and waited for almost an hour. Got really paranoied about temperture dropping, so I was crossing my legs like crazy. In my brief I also carried a pocket thermometer. Went in the bathroom to do the urine transfter, but realized the thermometer disappeard from my brief. I remember it was still there when I was waiting. I assume I dropped the thermometer somewhere on the way to the bathroom. But I figured since there were more than 10 people doing the test, they can't really confirm whos thermometer is it right? I doubt they'll call all the people back and get retested. Let me know your opinions on this, Thanks!!

They wont know, nor do they care. Like all of us they do a job and go home. Were there other people in this place for other than a piss test? Usually there are Moms with kids..elderly..etc. Next time you do the substitution though, piss in the cup first, let the temp rise and then dump it, pour in your croched sample, stash your bottle, and give sample to collector. The temp on the thermometer may drop a degree or two but not enough to be questionable. Like most collection sites, the bathrooms are cold, they know you need X amount of time to pull up and zip up before opening the door. So 95*-98* is considered average. Hope this helps.

I'm not pissing in a cup and simply dumping it and refilling with clean urine because the concentration of THCA in my system is likely WAY up there. Unless you rinsed the container -- which you cannot in a testing environment and unless the water was hot, it would lower the temp back down, thus negating the effect -- you might pop positive.

Here's what my thoughts on temp, though my last test was a bit scary. I wear two pair of underwear to better hold the heat. I put a hand warmer on the outside (away from my body) of the bottle. This tends to put the sample at about 98-100 degrees. "Normally" you are in the bathroom alone and have time to lower the temp, if desired, by swirling the cup and blowing air over the sample. Doing the opposite, adding heat, after the fact seems tougher to me.

I said my last test was a bit scary because the SOB stood behind me and to the side. Basically, he was just inside the door with the door open. Scared the sheot out of me! Not only did I not have a chance to check the temp, the bastard said that the 60 mL was not enough. Luckily, I had another 20 mL in another bottle. Still, two bottles with the guy in the room is scary. What if I dropped something -- the chances increased greatly because I could not move as freely (not nearly), for I had to pretend to be peeing in a cup. Luckily, only one of the bottles had a screw-on lid and the other had a flip-top. I'm not sure I could have twisted the 2nd lid off, poured, and replaced back in my pants with him behind me.

thanks for the reply! I think my temp is only 93ish, but when i came out of the bathroom the person looked at the temp and put this paper thing in there(about 1"x3") there were pink stripes on it. They told me sign some papers and that was yet. I guess they accepted my sample, AM I RIGHT?
Thanks for the advise of peeing my own urine in there first to rise up the temperture, but would the THC in my urine affect the overall sample?

thanks again, i'm just a paranoied person....hehe
my friends are tell me to blaze and celebrate, but i still want to wait and make sure....very tempted tho!!

Hmm, all of the tests of taken, they've given me a copy of the test's paperwork. The last test I took had a spot that said....

Temperature 90-100 F YES/NO?

I love the temp range accepted for this test because I'm pretty sure I've had some with a higher low temp (perhaps it was 93 degrees)!

Anyway, it sounds like they accepted the sample, but you should be able to confirm this with your copy of the paperwork (usually a single page from a multi-copy form)
