I have my UA test tomorrow with LabCorp. The form say it will be a "6 Drug-Bund" test. What is this? I have been taking home test kits, and have been getting negatives (although the lines tend to be much lighter than the Control line). What kind of test is this (gc/ms test vs. EMIT), and do you think my at home test kit results indicate a good chance for me passing (despite having a lighter line than the Control line)? *On a side note, the at home test kits were performed under normal conditions (ie. no diluting/masking). Thanks!!

| Funny you should mention that test because it is the same test I have to take at rehab. It's a urine screen that tests for 6 different drugs, one of them being THC. It's pretty accurate but I always use a product called Clear FLush to pass my tests. The last time I smoked was on Saturday and I have a test on Monday in which I will most likely be using Clear Flush so I can pass my test. Hope that helps at all.

Will the above mentioned pre-employment test likely be an gc/ms test or an EMIT screen? I am hoping for the 50ng/ml vs. the 15ng/ml.

EMIT screens 31 THC metabolites and has a cutoff of 50ng/mL for all 31 totaled. GC/MS only counts 1 THC metabolite, THC-COOH, and thus has a roughly equal cutoff of 15ng/mL. THC-COOH makes up aprox 1/3 of the total THC metabolite count in urine. GC/MS is only used to confirm a possitive from your initial screen(EMIT). Hope that clears it up for you. N2

Thanks, so the first test will most liklely not be a gc/ms test? Correct? Which is a "harder" test to fool, right?

The likelihood of a GC/MS test being administered for an initial pre-employment UA test is pretty rare, correct?
