hi all, wanted to share my story here and also follow up -- hopefully it ends up being of some help to someone.

I had a piss test today -- i could chose in advance when to go. I had a Clear Choice drink at hand so wasn't worried. Then i logged in here and saw it wasn't a fool-proof way to beat the system and was basically just a form of dilution.

i'm a male, 170 lbs, a bit of gut but not fat, average metabolism. i smoked last roughly 4 weeks ago, give or take a few days. about a gram. prior to that i didn't smoke for 2 weeks. and prior to that i was pretty heavy. so: heavy, then a gram after 2 weeks, then a gram after 2 more weeks -- with a month or so between that last smoke and today.

at about 10 am this morning i started drinking water, fruit juice and vegetable juice alternately with a focus on water. vegetable juice for salt. i also drank the clear choice drink -- i already paid for it and wanted the creatine. so by 3 pm i had about a gallon of fluids through me; i also took multivitamins and B vitamins every hour or so to have a natural piss color.

went to Lab Tech: one woman manned the office and didn't check my ID to match my face -- in other words my brother could have pissed for me. She didn't watch me wash my hands.... nor did she ask about any drugs/medicines i might be on. She just told me not to flush the toilet.

i tried pissing mid-stream as best i could. when i was done she was out in the front lobby -- i could have easily substituted piss on my visit, for sure. for lab tech pisses in the future, i'd recommend diluting and bringing in a sub, and doing what felt best at the time.

anyway i will share my results when they come in!

Well my prospective employer called me: lab tech said the results were diluted. The HR lady told me to not drink so much water and to pee early in the morning.

The good news: With the weekend and Fourth holiday I have another week inbetween now and piss time. The bad news: My innocent, straight-lace act will be shot to **** if I come back diluted again. Any thoughts on this matter from you freaks would be helpful, and I will again post my results after re-tinkling next week. : )

Comming back dilute a second time is not a rare event. In the DOT guidelines, it requires that a second negitive-dilute result be concidered a negitive result and the sample of record.
If you are still testing possitive, plan to substitute a clean sample and be dilute as a back-up, if for some reason they wanted to observe and you couldn't substitute.

quick question on aspirin: i was in the ER once with a broken foot and the doc told me i had an aspirin overdose (ringing ears, dizzy...). the doc said they see people every day with aspirin overdoses; i can't find anything online about just how many constitutes an overdose and am wondering if this is a concern of the dilution bunch? tks. ......

..... continuing from the posts above: i will piss tomorrow so today i bought a 15 dollar urine test from the drug store. i pissed only once in the morning prior to my test, so it was a pretty dirty sample.

i passed the test -- the little pink strip confirming i passed was very faint but the instructions say that's okay.

i'm a way too cautious dude, so tomorrow i will do some dilution stuff anyway: aspirin a few hours prior; testing in afternoon after several pisses; gatorade. nothing special. i will post my final results -- the results of a dude who smoked heavy for 10 years and then basically quit for a month (see first post for details).

i would recommend a home test in advance for sure if you can: either you'll get peace of mind, or you'll know how much to prepare for your test.
