I gota know since I'm trying to fly. Does the FAA Physical for a Class II Medical Cert. do a urine test for drugs? I stopped smoking 6 weeks ago and don't plan to ever smoke again but I'm a basket case worring about it. I have some home kits and I am still testing dirty. I smoked for 10 years every day....

Ask your trainer. Obviously, commercial pilots can be tested, but I never thought about it for a private pilots license.

I don't need a license for my plane....yet.
But I'm sure you arn't tested for a sport pilot license.

No, they do not do drug screen for class-2 or 3 medicals.
What scares me is I'm all but sure I failed two random test at work. I'm told that those results will someday find their way to the DOT and then the FAA. A crop duster friend of mine got a letter this year where they pulled his class-2 due to an unreported DUI he got three years ago. I go for my class-2 this month. If it's been reported, they will get me
