im in a similar situation but different test...i have to take a physical in three weeks and am pretty sure they will give me a urine test...i had quit smoking for a month(first time i went that long in years) but just found out it was gonna be another 3 weeks until the physical because of a scheduling problem...my question is if i dont smoke anymore for the next three weeks and smoked like 2 joints last night and today will it show up?...this physical is for assistance for my cancer disability so i have to pass it...will really appreciate any help...and i couldnt find a urine test thread so i hope this was ok to post here...thanx

get a home test and check yourself a couple of days before the test. If you don't pass, Dilute and test the next day. You should be able to pass with out diluting if you stay clean until the test. If it's for disabilty, you must pass, so don't smoke at all until it's over.

i already had a blood test for my disability assistance and hadnt smoked for like 5 days before i gave them that one...would have stopped longer before that one but was all the time i had after finding out i had to take it...its been over two weeks since i took it and havent heard anything negative about it and things seem to be going forward so i have to assume that it was clean...or they just werent looking for it...yet...and your sure ill be taking one huh?...damn was hoping i was just being paranoid cause they havent said anything about a urine or drug test and dont want to raise suspicions by asking alot of questions about it...the dr says its just a routine physical but guess that could include a urine test...oh well 2 joints in 7 weeks with the last three weeks not smoking and drinking lots of water before the test is the best i can do now...i dont know where id get a home drug testing kit either and after missing the last appointment(not my fault and they know it) i HAVE to make this one or will be denied benefits so if the HDT was positive id have to go anyway...at least if i go theres a chance i will pass...so thanx for the reply buddy and will appreciate any other comments and thoughts on this matter...LEGALIZE IT!!!!!!!

That they are testing you for drugs or cancer, I confused why they would check you for drugs?

well they sent me a form asking about my drug and alcohol use and i recieved it less than a week before the blood test so looked to me like it they might be looking for that too...just kinda doubt they will take my word for it...lol...and i said on the form "i dont do drugs" which i dont...but i do smoke weed and that would have been kinda stupid to put "i smoke weed but dont do drugs" on the form...lol...but hope that clears up your confusion and see what i was thinking...and like i said i am hoping im just being paranoid about the urine test being part of the physical...thanx again for the post...your buddy in 420...freefallin

Get a home test and be sure, OK! I wouldn't want you to have any problems with the disability pay. Sorry to hear that it's for cancer. I hope it's not teminal, and that you have a full recovery.

...and im cancer free as far as i know...been 2 years since my last pet scan...i had lymphoma the non hodgekin type and only had to do 4 months of chemo but im pretty sure its gonna come back...has a high return rate and i know im not lucky enough to not have it come back...thats why im trying to get the assistance cause its not cheap and remission isnt a cure and is considered a handicap..anyway i am usually a regular smoker and quit a month ago when i got the drug and alcohol form to fill out...so my question is after not smoking for a month then smoking 2 joints will it show up in a urine test in 3 weeks?...and thanks again for the kind words about my condition...very much appreciated...and your reply is too...your friend in 420...freefallin

Well I think That those 2 joints should wait until after thet test. It starts with 1 j and leads to more. Unless you could sub I say NO to smoking before the test.

well i dont have that option now...already smoked them...not smart i admit but thats a moot point now...it had been a month without smoking and then when i saw i had another 3 weeks till the physical i figured that little wouldnt hurt after going without for a month and still have 3 weeks till the physical...and i will NOT be smoking anymore till after the physical...again hope im just being paranoid about the urine test being part of the physical but wouldnt put it past them to do it...and cant imagine that little amount of weed staying in the body that long but really dont know for sure so if you or anyone knows please let me know...or maybe what to use to help flush it out besides water...i drink alot of that already...would really appreciate it...and thanx for the replys...your frind in 420...freefallin
