Hey guys,

Here's my dilemma... firstly I know nothing about the testing, since this is the first time in my life I've had to deal with it, and I've been smoking for about 10 years (and a lot). About a week ago I had a test, in which he simply dipped 3 sticks that looked like home pregnancy tests into my urine for about a minute, and then waited to see if a second line came up (which meant a negative result). They were for cocaine, heroin, and THC. The THC was positive, not to my surprise since I had only smoked about 3 days before it. Luckily my P.O. didn't hold that against me, except the fact that he will require me to retest 21 days after that day (14 days from today).

I am around it all the time due to friends, and catch a whiff every now and then, but haven't smoked any aside from one small hit that I took 2 days after the first test. Honestly I would like to be able to smoke, at least on occasion, like once or twice a week even, but I need to know for sure that I can do that and still pass this test. Plus I'm a little concerned about passing the next test as it is. Any comments or suggestions you could share would be awesome.

Sorry, forgot to mention.... I'm 5'6", 140 lbs, athletic build though I pretty much don't work out at all, and a very fast metabolism. In the past 30 days from today --- I took 1 hit 6 days ago, smoked part of a blunt 5 days before that, and smoked at least once every 2-3 days before that. I would probably say that before 30 days before now, I was pretty much smoking at LEAST once every day, but usually more.

Second-hand smoke is not going to cause a positive THC test unless you spend hours in a closer with a bunch of smokers.

I suggest you buy a bunch of home THC tests off of eBay and practice a dilution technique to see if you can get your THC metabolite level below the cutoff. Dilution works fine if your THC metabolite levels are not too high to begin with. Follow the guidelines, use Gatorade, B-complex, creatine, and aspirin. Don't over-dilute, which will only make your PO test you again or violate you.

The way I pass my test I use quickfix or any clean substitute urine and put a heat patch on the bottle and in about 30 minutes it should be up to temp. Note those heat pads last up to 8 hrs I used this method today.Its the best way if you arent being watched.
