I am currently trying to get a job and, in my field, EVERY place does a drug screen. I'm 30 years old and have been a daily smoker for a long, long time. I was stupid to think that I could just take one of those Detox drinks and be fine because it didn't work. First, I went to GNC. I bought tea that was supposed to clean out my system. I drank so much 2 days before my test I felt sick. Then the day of my test, I drank some drink from GNC that was supposed to "mask" the THC in my system. Well, it didn't work.

I haven't smoked in 3 days (I think that's a record for me) and I took another test today. This time I used Detoxify XXclean. It's made for heavy people. Even though I'm 5'6" and only 110, the guy at the store thought it would work. I don't know if it did or not but I don't think so.

I work out all of the time, eat OK (but I do love junk food) and drink a lot of soda. Does soda make a difference on the amount of time the THC will stay in the system? How about smoking cigarettes?

Also, I read on the forum that people take water and aspirin to clean their system. How do you do that?

I'd really like to get a job and am looking forward to getting back into my old routine. Until then, any tips on how to get it out of my system would be greatly appreciated.

I did! And I believe it worked for me. I haven't heard anything about my test (took it Monday), so I'm guessing no news is good news. Check out my post undering Wondering and you can see how I did it. Since they usually don't observe pre-employment tests, you should be ok subbing. There's also a thread on it.

Good luck and I hope it works out for you. I started my job on Monday and so far...so good.

I took a test today and passed using quick fix . I previously failed using urine luck but for now on its quick fix or that substitute on ebay

When you used the Quick Fix did they say anything about the amount? I know they tell you to fill it to a line which I believe QF will make it to. But usually when I take a test I always seem to go over the mark because I have to go so bad from preping for the test.

delilah911 you sound like you are really overweight. i think you should try exercising more and drinking less sodas. did i mention that you should fit some exercise in there? quit eating so much crap and quit smoking weed if you want to pass a drug test... jesus...

been clean for 3 days and youve been smoking for 20 years, and you think you can get clean by drinking some tea? you must be tripping. what college did you go to? it sure wasnt the college of good sense. if you want a job anywhere besides burger king put down your blunts for a month or so. dont smoke up to a couple dozen hours before the test and think you can pull a magic trick and get off. if you think that then you are nuts.

Not true, aspirin and water are used to dilute your system, not clean it.
