My buddy needed some urine for a pre-employment test. He didn't have time to get synthetic and I had not smoked or done ANYTHING, except alcohol a week prior, in 51 days. I told him that I've taken and passed many tests, though I once failed one after 32 days clean. To be sure I was clean, we purchased a test from Walgreens. I passed the home test and then filled a small bottle for him. He took an eScreen/eCup test and instead of passing, they sent it for further testing......

He found this out when he called the employer to see when he could start work. Normally, the employer gets negative results within an hour of the test, so this is not "normal." They told him he may receive a call from the lab regarding any medication he may be taking --- I've ONLY taken ibuprofen lately and NOTHING else. "Lately," being a really long time -- over a year.

My friend is now waiting for lab results and I feel bad for him for a few people know him at this employment site.

Passing the home test and then this happening AND being clean for 51 days is some serious bull. I frickin hate piss tests.

THat is a sad storry. :!( but don't give up. I'm sure it was sent in for a GC/MS conformation. Those initial screens are always turning up false possitives.
About eScreen, do you know what size sample he/you gave? I read a report of eScreen requiring 80ml rather than the standard 60ml or less.

I just took a test today for a job and normally when i take a DOT random at the testing site the temp strip was only about 1/2 inch up from the bottom, but today it was up to the 55ml mark. Might just be the company I was testing for or they have changed thier standards. Also the company gave me a sheet ot fill out listing all of my perscribed meds and how often and how many times a day I take them [talk abut invasion of privacy] and want the DR's name and PH #. So I called a buddy that works there and he is going to ask a couple of his friends tha work there to see if they wont hire you if you are on script's. Let ya know

i think you should know that i also have a friend who is now doing time for failing a drug testv due to using ibuprofen

maybe your freind will get lucky just dont get your hopes up

Hawg, DOT still only requires 45ml. 30ml for sample A and 15ml for sample B. If the idiots placed the temp strip at the 55ml level, I'd make them squirm. I'd ONLY supply 45ml and sue the hell out of them if they didn't correct THEIR error.

Hey N2 hows it goin? The place that I took the test for isn't for a driving job so I guess they wanted a little more for some reason. The only thing that pisses me off is that my script meds showed up and they wanted the RX #'s which is normal but they were going to call the pharmacy and ask them about it. I did not slow down on the meds but did on the smoke as per the guidlines for dillution. I called the place of employment and told them I had scripts for the meds and they said no problem. So I start next week and can start my evening ritual again. Also like you I will always have my Quick Fix with me and some Listerine breath strips because they also said they might do a random piss/saliva test, but my buddie that works there said the randoms never happen unless you give them a good reason for it. So I am back in the groove again!!!! The dillution techniuqe worked for me so I guess you can call this a testimonial Hey N2 how many ml are in the bottle of Quick Fix? Scince they wanted so much I might need to pack 2 of them till I get in the union.

QF bottles contain aprox 2oz/60ml.

You can't go to jail for failing a drug test unless you're already on probation. While ibuprofen used to be a cause for false positives they've modified the tests so it is no longer. Besides, positives on preliminary tests are verified by GC/MS testing, which identifies the precise chemical composition of the sample.

Everybody in jail is innocent (according to themselves).

you know im just trying to help here i DO have a freing who IS doing time for failing a drug test and yes he was on probation im not saying your freind is going to jail and im not sure if he will fail but i know someone who is in a federal prison because of failing a drug test because of ibuprofen

oh and one more thing their are a ****load of people in jail who are actually innocent
