i am 18 years old, ive been smoking for the past 2 months, had a 2 week break at the end of the first month due to traveling to another country. ive been clean for the past week + drinking about 1.5 gallon of water for the past week as well. i have a doctor physical coming up which is done every year. my question is CBC (complete blood count) does not test for THC correct? Also the urinalysis, which is done for kidneys--to see if they are working properly is not also a drug test right? PLEASE help, i am stressed out about this, my parents cannot find out.

A CBC is a blood test that evaluates your cell counts (white blood cells, reds, platelets, etc.) It does not check for THC. A basic UA (urinalysis) is common in a general doctor physical. They are mainly checking for leukocytes, blood in urine, pH, etc. I used to work for an urgent care facility which provided general physicals, DOT, and we did drug screens for about 100 different companies in town. Every drug screen we did always required alot of "pomp and circumstance" if you get my meaning... Loads of signing this, initaling that, taping the lid on, etc....

Your 18 and even if they did test for drugs which they won't they have to abide by the HIPPA law it is your business and no one else's not even your parent's. Or like N2 said you could be driving the DR's new Jag or Porche if he says anything.
