| First thanks for all the advice all of you have directly and indirectly been helping me with. I have recommended this site to all my fellow corporate stoners. And also find myself dispelling the myths that I believed before I visited this site. Now my question... Just filled out the job new hire paperwork and at the bottom of the stack of papers to sign is the little slip I'm to take in to the testing facillity. The company doing it is Alexian Brothers Corporate Health Services. Checked is the test that has been ordered: New Hire Non-DOT/Non-NIDA "10 Panel" is listed under special instructions Does anyone know what "Non-DOT/Non-NIDA" and "10 Panel" means? Thanks! |

| Looks like I found my answer. Found this on a private lab website: Non-DOT Drug Screen: A Non-DOT screen is a screen that can test for a wide range of drugs such as; Opiates, PCP, Amphetamines/Methamphetamines, Marijuana, Cocaine; which is considered a 5-panel drug screen. This can be expanded upon by testing for the above five drugs and adding Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone, Methaqualone, Propxyphene; which is considered a 10-panel drug screen. A urine alcohol (ethyl) can be added to either panel if desired. Unfortunately this doesn't give me any info with regard to testing technique or sensitivity of the test (which is what I was hoping for). |

| Nice bit if searching. non-DOT test may also have different cutoff levels, though most do not. :!) N2
