I haven't smoked for 23 days. I have used the home test kit and I have tested negative for the past 3 days..... I have done a lot of reading about the urine testing. Being negative for the last 3 days I felt confident taking the test witout worring about drinking any of the carbo drfink, etc. At the time of the test I was told it was a spilt sample, which was 2 spicemens of 15 ml each, instead of a single 30 ml.......
What a hell is a split test??????

A split sample is when they separate the sample into two bottles. They run a test on one and freeze the other. If you come up positive, you can order the split (or second bottle) to be tested at another site. This is to insure you had a fair test, and its your last gasp until they tell your employer (usually takes a week or so to get results). Are you under a D.O.T. type of job, or is it private small company? If it is a DOT situation, above description is DOT regulations (dealt with them since 86). If it is a small privately owned company.......here is what to do if you test positive. First raise crap about the lab, and collection site, then say you have to think about retesting the split, and hang up. Make sure he did not tell you how long you have to think about the retest, a case was won in my state on this. PM me if you'd like more info. Hope this helps! JD

Thanks for the info, JayD...It is not a DOT job...it's a private firm, but actually worldwide. I did the home testing for the past 3 days and they came out negative, that's why I decided not to use any of the carbo drinks...I drank a couple of glasses of water ate ham and cheese sub, in order not to dilute and drank half bottle of cranberry juices minutes before the exam, thinking to give some color....now some tell me that i should never drank the cranberry, why????people are confusing me now! Did I f... up now?? I should be ok, given 3 negatives for the past 3 days, right? or not? thanks for the support

You should be fine if you passed a home test three times and diluted a bit there shpuldnt be a problem. If anything it may come back negative dilute.
