| My sample was too dilute for the EMIT, onsight test, so it got sent off to Quest, for what I suspect is a GC/MS. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I was under the impression that "too dilute," is just that and wouldn't be considered valid for testing, even for a GC/MS. If it were subjected to an EMIT, my sample would absolutely pass. Will Quest try that first? If it is put through the GC/MS, will the fact that it's diluted help? Wouldn't it be a waste of money to do that test on a dilute sample. Is there some way they can undilute it, i.e. when they turn your urine into a gas? I'm so nervous. I was supposed to get my results by now, but haven't. If I'm going to be waiting indefinitly, I'd really appreciate any knowledge any of those wiser than myself would be willing to share. Thanks A Lot!!! |
