I'm a moderate smoker. A couple small bowls every day for years of average commercial mexican. I'm 6', 200 lbs., hard worker in a hot factory (sweat alot!) Got snitched on by a coworker but luckily was tipped off by a friend. I took some vacation time before my employer could take action so I could clean up. I bought a home test from Walgreens and quit smoking on 7/21. I've been doing some yard work at home to relieve stress and stay active. Did one of the home tests tonight (7/25) with little hope of passing. Much to my surprise I got the faint line! No dilution or masking, just mid-stream sample. I've used the home test before and trust them. It took 12 days to finally pass back then but I smoked a little more and better bud (homegrown).

My employer uses the DOT screen so I feel confident I'll be OK if they decide to test me. Will do another home test Monday and if all is well I'm returning to work this week and will post results. I hope this helps someone out there.

It's too bad that your co-workers ratted you out. Were you smoking on the job?

The "rat" was a guest at a little afterwork get-together of friendly coworkers awhile back.

Anyway, I just passed another home test so I'm good to go, although wiser and less trusting of people that I don't know well. I posted my story so that perhaps someone with similar physical characteristics and lifestyle could have more hope and less worry when faced with this ordeal. Dilute if you can and use the home tests.

Never trust someone you don't know. I never talk about smoking at work, and if I did they wouldn't believe me.
