Default dilution and diarrhea- affect results

Greetings again, as posted on another thread I am agonizing over a urine test yesterday. As I sit here and freak out another question popped into my hectic brain. I attempted the dilution method and as a result spent a lot of time in the bathroom both peeing and also had a pretty good case of the runs. I assume this was a result of the cranberry juice, but was wodering if anyone had any thoughts on the possible affect on the test. When one finds themselves so afflicted is water being diverted out of the normal pathway ie bladder and into the digestive tract and if so will this possibly hurt my efforts to dilute??? You all have been wonderful, supportive and I cannot thank you for the feedback enough. trying to keep sane. Peace

Vt,
I think you are ok. I would guess that as long as you were urinating a good amount that the dilution worked. It also depends on how much you actually moved through your bowels. Was it mostly pure fluid etc. But again, I think that you are ok. Just my opinion though. Try and relax. I know the anxiety is overwhelming! Peace

not to gross anyone out, but I suppose all relevant info can help people....yes, my bowels were mostly water...unlike anything I have experienced before. I continued to pee clear as the dilution process progressed until the viatamins kicked in (atleast I hope thats why I started peeing yellow). I was actually surprised at the test with the color of the sample as it was pretty yellow. Thanks for the feedback and keep your fingers crossed for me....Peace

i don't have any answers for you, just wanted to let you know that you are NOT alone! i did the diluting on monday, and was SO sick to my stomach all day and i almost didn't make to the bathroom on the way home after my test. i have a strong feeling that it is from the vitamins. i was thinking that it was from the aspirin bc i don't stomach that very well, but seeing that you were sick as well maybe it wasn't that. i don't care for cranberry juice, i drank gatoraid.
side note. does anyone have a clue as to how long it takes for QUEST to come back with results? i was so nervous everytime i heard footsteps coming down the hall at work today. i mean i know it was negative, but i am worried about it being too diluted. but, isn't that what the tums, aspirin, and creatine are for?

Suzy, I think it was your post that led me to pose the question in the first place, as I hadn't heard of the upset stomach in any discussion before. I was in rough shape, alternating peeing and what may be described as #2, again I don't want to gross anyone out, but I spent an equal amount of time on the "pot"- no pun intended. I have to assume, with the lack of feedback, especially from the dilution guru-N2 where are you- that it was the mixture of vitamins, aspirin, fiber, rolaids, and water/juice/gatorade (I did them all) that resulted in the "condition" that you and I experienced. I too took a Quest test and was told 24-72 hours which leaves me possibly sleepless throughout the weekend, ugh!!!!!!! Good luck to you and let me know what happens, Peace VTDREAMING

Yeah, why are we the "lucky" ones! No fair! LOL. And, not to gross anyone out, I was the same way, more "water" than anything. Just glad it is over. Just wish my bowl and I could have a serious heart to heart! It has been over a week. Then again, I am out : (. And with the money I spent on the creatine, vitamins, aspirin, rolaid, 3 home tests, the Total Eclipse, and gatoraid, I don't have any to spend on hooley anyhow............. Guess that money was my hooley money for the next 2 weeks. Just pray that it isn't diluted so I don't have to put my tummy through it all again.

Thanx for the 24-72 hour window. So, if I took it on Tuesday it has already been 48 hours. "Only" 24 to go! Oiy! I hope that I don't have to wait all weekend. Thanx for the luck and much more back at cha! Can't wait to read your "I passed" post!!! Did my homework for tomorrow, so I am going to bed to veg. undefined
Peace out all : )

Suzy, I hope you can get some sleep on this- it reallly is out of our hands at this point, but I am feeling the pain- this wait...it is crazy. As this was my first test, and perhaps the most important--quit my job in one state, moved the falimly to another state, put the house on the market etc...... I am stressed out. We are riding the savings but...not much at 33...and this job offer is a great one, with long term potential. I have never felt like an outcast for smoking the weed, but now feel like a "stranger". If I blow this I am not sure what to do as the promise of my move could become a huge disappointment leaving my falily(wife and 2 yr old) without income for sometime, let alone the benefits etc....lets hope that "motezuma's revenge" really purged the ol' system. It would be great to hear from some of the more astute mediators on this subject...please????? Still sleepless till the results come in. Thanks guys, AJT aka vt dreaming
