OK Folks, I just returned from my potential employeer who said my second test came back dillute (1st one also). I told them I was shocked as I did not do anything out of the ordinary and they called the lab to check out my story. I have to go again tomorrow for a thrid and final test- they will provide me no more chances and I have to pay for this one(thanks to grillmeats for this idea). So here's the deal: definately been over a month since I last smoked, prior to that it was off and on, but no more than an 1/8 between Aug 1 and Sept 3rd. I am 6 foot, 200 lbs, not very active. I passed a home test prior to my first test on the mornings first pee (probably 2 weeks ago). They want me at the lab first thing tomorrow with no food or water after 10 tonight. What should I do- the test is a quest 5-50 gc/ms????

I do not understand why you are not passing one buy now with a 50 ng cutoff, with passing a home test. Screw them I would do the dillution method the evening before and then maybe just the tums and asprin with a little sports drink with salt in the morning to make sure you can pee. Maybe Grillmeats can give you a better answer

If you passed a home test with the first part of the first pee of the day without dilution then you should be able to pass a pre-emp test without dilution. Dilution is a balancing act between enough dilution to lower the concentration of THC metabolites below the cutoff and too much dilution which produces a negative-dilute result. Apparently you have erred in the later direction.

For the third test, don't dilute. Or, at the very most, drink 24 -36 oz. of liquid a couple of hours before the test and pee a couple of times before you go in.

Hey Hawg, thanks. On the second go around I didn't really try to "fool" the test, I had my morning vitamin and fiber pills, which I take daily and had my 2 mugs of coffee and went in???? They said it was dilute so I'm a little shaky on what to do...it has been well over a month and I can't mess this up, but I will not give them my 1st pee for sure, but now I'm paranoid on what to do in the morning?!?!?

Thanks Buzzby, I definately over did the dillution thing the first time...I should have followed the outlined advice, but was panicked etc....So you think I should just get up, have some OJ and go??? I am perhaps way to paranoid about this, but do not want to be too concentrated or too dilute. Thanks!

Why not get the stuff in your system tonight. Take some Tums tommorrow, along with aspirin, and a glass of salt water. Get your urine to be as natural as possible, remember, it's your money!

Just take the aspirin and gatorade, don't drink as much.
