OK, here is my story… 6’, thin, above average-fast metabolism, heavy smoker, daily, only dank.

Basically, I did the dilution method… twice…

I was offered a pretty good job a couple of weeks ago relatively last minute.

I smoked that Monday morning and was called Monday afternoon. I immediately stopped smoking after this call. I also immediately started drinking continuous single cups of Cleanz Blendz tea from GNC . I did a phone interview on Tuesday, sweated it out in a hot-tub on Wed. and they offered me a formal verbal job offer on Thurs. At this point, I was informed that I had to take a drug test within 48 hours at a predetermined lab, LabCore. Thurs. afternoon I went for a good run on the beach. I woke up early Friday and brewed a gallon of Cleanz Blendz , 18 bags . I spent the next 3 hours in agony drinking all of the tea and peeing every 5 minutes.
I took the test around 16:15 on Friday, since the lab closed at 16:30 and was also closed on the weekends. My pee looked like water and the tech put a very small amount of pee into the sealed container.

I decided to wait for the results before smoking. Next Wed. my new Supervisor (a friend of a friend) called me and informed me that they gave me the job. At noon I received a FedEx with my formal hardcopy job offer from HR. I decided to smoke in celebration while reading my job offer.
I went to my old job that afternoon and got a call on my cell around 18:00. It was the company who handled the drug test and they told me that MY SAMPLE WAS TOO DILUTED AND I NEEDED TO RE-TAKE THE TEST WITHIN 24 HOURS!!! Minutes before the call I had smoked a co-workers schwag!

Needless to say, I was pretty freaked out! I don’t have any friends who are clean. My Pop even offered to drive down and pee for me, hehe, but I declined, he lives over 3 hours away. So, I got on this site and many others and did a lot of research.

I got up early (again) on this next Thurs. and drank another gallon of Cleanz Blendz . Starting around an hour and a half before the test I started taking 8 aspirin, 8 vitamin B complex, 4 Burdock root, 4 ibprofen and a bunch of Tums . I took the test around the same time, 16:15. This time my pee looked just like Mountain Dew, no kidding. I also followed the “only use the middle pee” advice. Also, a different tech put a much larger sample into the sealed container.

The following Monday (this is 2 weeks after the initial job offer) I went to orientation for my new job and worked all week long. It is now Saturday morning one week and two days after my second drug test. My new Supervisor told me not to worry about it anymore, we would’ve heard by now. I don’t think my new company even knows I had to re-take the test.

The new job is going well so far, I enjoy it and the people I work with. I’m still a little worried… yeah, paranoid, I know, but I’m not used to ever worry about smokin’.

I just had to write and let everyone know that I think this method (dilution, aspirin, vitamin B ) might work pretty good, seeing as I smoked less than 24 hours before my second drug test. I will definitely post anything here if I get some bad news down the road or something. I still might…

Maybe someone can help me with this dilemma I have about the tests…

I think they used the EMIT test method, although I don’t really know for sure.

If the first test is positive, then why even bother with the second test?
I don’t get it… Why test for the other drugs, when they already know it’s positive for some type of drug? Will they, perhaps, be more lenient if it’s marijuana and not cocaine or heroine? I don’t see why they bother with the second phase of the test, why waste the money?

Anyhow, too bad we even have to worry about it… I don’t even drink… I’m not gonna come in hung-over or late the next day because I smoked weed the night before... I quit smoking cigarettes 2 years ago, so no smoke-breaks at work... save money on prisons and generate money with taxes… preaching to the choir …

Yee Haa !!!! I passed I am 43 5'6" 221 lbs and a fairl y slow metabolism I took my urine test Wed morning and didnt hear anything but I followed Grillmeats advice and called Friday afternoon just asking when orientation started and she told me they skipped a step that they needed to check my past employment. Well yesterday she called me and told me that they had checked it out and it was good so I am assuming that the test came back Negative it is for Sams Club.I cannot see them telling me that if they hadnt received the results. What I did is a few days before my test I drank for both days a bottle of xxclean and also just a little while before I went to the lab I drank another one. I only drank a few bottles of water 32 oz all together I didnt want to dilute to much and the urine sample looked greenish yellow so I am assuming its ok. I home tested too right before the lab and the THC line wasnt really dark but very noticable. I have only smoked 1 time in the last month and that was three weeks ago. I am going to stop smoking for good I think.I also have the post office test comming up next month so I want to be ready for that. But this job at Sams looks pretty good so I might just stay there. Kind of test you took at the lab Filled urine up to to the line, filled the cup about 15 seconds into a 60 second deluge. I had to piss like a freakin race horse going in, there was one guy before me who let me go first because he saw me dancing in my chair on account of I had to go so bad. The nurse was laughing when I came out because she heard the duration of my firehose-like piss. I told her, truthfully, that I had chugged water going in because he last time I had a test I couldn't go.

After one week of building agony and doubt, I heard back from my new boss that everything came out OK, come in on Monday. It looks like I passed the "whizz quiz". There is always the possibility that I failed it and they hired me anyway, because I'm really superior at what I do (I am). I'll never know the chemical results, you cant ask for them now can you?

I heard on Jay Leno that even the FBI is now compromising to allow hiring of casual smokers. As an otherwise law abiding American patriot, this comforts me.

On the day I was laid off, I quit smoking. Ganja enhances all your experiences, positive and negative, so if you are bummed out about losing your job, smoking is just going to ratchet up the worry. How can you blaze up and then mull over whether you will pass the screen?

My philosophy is quit right when the news goes bad. Why waste a sweet high on bad times? I made getting the new job my incentive to get high again. Everyone on this thread agrees that abstinence helps you out, so I say quit. It is a great comfort to me knowing know that marijuana is truly non-addictive. I quit cigarettes ten years ago, that was very difficult. Quitting herb is much easier, a mere annoyance compared to quitting the totally legal and totally poisonous nicotine.

I have to endorse the QCarbo Herbal Clean. It was expensive, but that and the abstinence either helped me pass or didn't harm my efforts. I followed the instruction and timing very closely. If I ever have to go through this crap again (and I hope I don't) I would use N2's dilution technique because it seems to work and it doesn't cost big money.

Please keep up the fight against this invasion of our constitutional rights to be secure in our persons. I am an American.

I PASSED - BUT IT WAS VERY NERVE-WRACKING!

My advice for pre-employment screenings
1. If you have enough time before your screening (more then 3 weeks), ABSTAIN, EXERCISE, EAT MEAT, DRINK LOTS OF FLUIDS, PEE OFTEN. MULTIVITIMINS - ABSTAIN MORE! oh, and did I mention ABSTAINING? If not, ABSTAIN!

The chances are that if you abstain for at least 3 weeks and you were not inhaling more smoke then oxygen on a regular basis prior to your abstanence, you can probably get by following the dillution method described all over this forum.

2. If you do NOT have enough time before your screening and plan to use substitution, either with someone else's clean urine or with synthetic urine, PRACTICE!!! READ THE SUBSTITUTION STEP ON THIS FORUM IN DETAIL AND PRACTICE! Oh, yes... and go ahead and abstain too. It is NOT a bad thing to lay off the reefer for a while. It helps clear the head and makes it so much better after you pass and can indulge again!

At the SCREENING, Things to watch out for include:
1. NOT HAVING ENOUGH TO PROVIDE AN ADEQUATE SAMPLE! Make sure you are ready to give MORE THEN 2oz. This can be tricky because larger bottles are harder to tuck neatly between your legs and are probably harder to heat up and keep at the right temp.
2. Temperature - duh... but it takes practice to figure out YOUR best way to make sure you sample makes the temp. PRACTICE!
3. Be dilluted anyway! Depending on your level of smoking (Chronic, daily user vs. casual, weekly user), following the dillution method is not a bad thing for the just-in-case scenarios that could arise. If you are not able to do your substitution and have to offer a real sample you really want to be dilluted!
4. DON'T PANIC! I know that is easier said then done and I sure did panic during my process. It did not screw me up, but I think it is because I was lucky.
5. DON'T SQUEEZE THAT BOTTLE TOO HARD! It will make a loud air noise that is very distinctive and recognizable to a nosey tech who very well could be listening at the door. They could then mark on the report there was a suspicion of substition or somehting to that effect that could cause the labs to question your sample.

NOTE: Even though I passed with a mixed sample (2 oz. Quick-fix + 1 oz. of my dilluted, and rather clean urine) I DO NOT RECOMMEND MIXING SYNTHETIC AND REAL URINE. My pre-emp. screening was probably a very general lab process that did not go into the necessary details to determine that this sample was not 'legit', but I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A MORE THOROUGH TESTING OF THAT SAMPLE WOULD HAVE YIELDED!

So if you are goingto use SUBSTITUTION - GO 100% SUBSTITUTION.
If you are going to use DILLUTION - GO 100% DILLUTION
READ THIS FORUM EXTENSIVELY FOR ALL THE TIPS, PIT-FALLS, SUCCESS STORIES AND SO ON to help you pick your approach. There are a lot of ways to make it through.

My success story

• 1. Male - 37yrs.
  2. 5'-10"
  3. 155 lbs.
  4. High Metabolism
  5. Light Smoker (1 puff every 3 or 4 days of moderate smoke)
  6. PLANNED to use substitution with 2 oz. of Quick-Fix

• 1. Abstained for 10 days prior to the test (just in case I was watched and had to give the real thing instead of the QF)
  2. 3 days prior I began loading up on red meat, drinking lots of water and taking a multivitimin that included B2 and B12
  3. On the day of the test I drank 32 oz of Gatorade, lots of water, took 2 B2's (not multivitimin - plain B2) an hour before and 4 asprin starting when I got up and 1 and hour until the test.

• 1. On the day of the screening I tucked the QF into my tighty-whites (2-pair for added support) between my legs.
  2. 1-hour before I warmed up the heating pad and just tucked in between my legs (outside of my slacks - no need to cook the boys, now...)
  2. Did a quick bathroom run to practice the process - checked the temp... good (98 degrees, easy). Checked access to the bottle, convenient and easy to do, even if I was accompanied in the room.
  3. Went to the test.

• 1. Fillout out paperwork
  2. Was led to the back of the facility where I emptied my pockets into a lock box
  3. Went to a second room where I washed my hands and was told to select a sample bag that contained all the stuff - collection tube, etc...
  4. More writing on things, initializing stuff, etc...
  5. Then she hands me this rather large collection bottle (100ml) and says to fill it to the 90ml mark (my heart started pumping here...) She even drew a pen mark on the bottle a little below 90, but that was still much more then what I had warming between my legs...
  6. I went into the john, closed the door, pulled the QF out and squeezed it into the collection bottle - WATCH OUT FOR THE AIR SQUEEZE NOISE AT THE END!!! Mine made that distinctive, "SQQQEEEEEEEFFFFFFF!" sound because I was so nervous and squeezing the bottle too hard.
  7. It did NOT fill up even to the pen mark... I paniced a little and decided to add my dilluted pee to top it off.
  8. It was accepted by the tech - no comments made. Signed, sealed and sent off.
  9. I spent the next 2 days not sleeping wondering if my mixed QF/Urine sample would be discovered by the lab and flagged as 'adulerated'.

It wasn't - I passed! New Job! Played a killer gig with my band that night (unrelated to this story, but it was a great way to celebrate! We like to party when we play!!!) Yeah!

Hmm... this is from a drug test nearly a year ago.

17 y.o. female, 170 lbs., clean for 4 days, but usually smoked a blunt at least every three days if not more, and I think I have a considerably slow metabolism.
For 4 days, I ate nothing. I drank water and liquor and pissed like a racehorse. I also had a couple tablespoons of vinegar and took cranberry supplement pills. The day of the test, I took an eyedrop container full of bleach and a packet of salt. I used two drops of bleach and two grains of salt.

I passed.

hello all,
this is my story. i started my job on the 13th of september, a tuesday. had the orientation a while before that. i had been there for a couple of weeks, never quitting smoking, just assumed that if there was to be a drug test it would have been brought up at the orientation. well i was wrong! i was asked on thursday the 22nd if i had a chance to take my drug test yet. told him no, didn't tell him that i didn't know of one. i told him that i "would take it next week sometime" he told me that they wanted it w/in 48 hours. lucky for me this was near the weekend so that played in my favor. i came home and googled "how to pass a drug test" and came across this WONDERFUL forum!
i read, read, and then read some more, as well as asked about eleventymillion questions.(thanx to all of the wonderful ppl for ALL of their help!!!) i decided that i was too chicken to sub, and then through process of elimination figured that i really didn't have a reliable sub person. well, i probly do but those ppl. don't know that i smoke LOL. so i decided to go the dilution route. started the creatin the next day, friday the 23rd. went out and bought all the things that one would need for N2's method. i also bought "total eclipse" from GNC for 45 bucks. a friend of ours has to test bi-weekly and has passed every time and is a heavier partier than i am. he has never failed. i prolonged the test til tuesday the 26th. i followed N2's directions to the T with the exception of drinking the total eclipse at the end of N2's method following with 16 ounces of water after drinking it (which is in their directions) and went and took the test at quest lab. i was not supervised while i dropped. came out, she checked the temperature, and then had me pour my sample into a smaller vial, initialed it, and that was that. she never asked about any other drugs that i have taken or anything along those lines. the test was 3 weeks ago and i have not heard a thing, good or bad and i have seen my boss plenty of times he never said a word. so i am pretty sure that i am in the clear : )
still a little hesitant to light up again, though i did take a couple hits one night and that was it. i guess part of the reason why i haven't toked as much as i used to and as much as i would like is in the back of my head there is still parinoia. what if they sent my sample in for further testing? IF they had, wouldn't i have known those results by now? any help in answering this question would be much appreciated!!! also shorething mentioned where you can get some strips that will detect the gravity/dilution of your sample.
on the day of the test i tested at home before and after. i also did a trial run the sunday before my test, and it was negitive.i encourage EVERYONE to do a trial run, and home test. the after was more for peace of mind than anything else. they were also both negitive.

145lb male
fast metabolism - can't gain weight
smoked 2-4 hits of sticky Oregon buds nightly for weeks
abstained for 16 days before test
did NOT change routine at all, so not much water and a lot of beer
1 pair of crossed fingers
thats it. 2nd piss of the day went into the cup.

Freakin scary. Screw that. Always dilute or abstain for 4 weeks. Lesson learned.
