Finally got the word from HR, my background check is done, I'm in!!!! Thanks to all the great advice on substitution from this site, I'd have never made it with dilution in a million years (only 72 hours' notice, daily smoker for years)...and on that note GM, I'm a little hungry!!!

5'3, 115 lbs. I was a daily smoker for about a year when an awesome job offer came my way. I actually quit for 5 weeks, tested negative first void, AND used dilution on the day of the urine test. I waited and waited, and in the process got back to my daily smoking routine. Finally, 5 weeks later, I got a call saying the results were dilute.

This 2nd time, I used a friend's pee, crotched it, read 98F, and got a call a few days later saying I was good to go! I'm so thankful for everyone here who has written any significant post - I was reading this forum for hours a day to prepare for both tests. Thank you!!!

Just a few lessons learned from this experience.
1. If you test negative first void, don't mess things up by using dilution on top of that. I would've passed the first time if I didn't dilute.

2. If you're a college student, quit or figure out how to sub before interview season comes around (spring time) when companies come to your university. Corporate companies will almost always drug test interns.

3. I guess there is no really set time period that you'll hear back. I read on here that employers get back to you after a drug test in about a week's time. Mine was 5 weeks. It would've saved me alot of worrying if I had completely abstained during those 5 weeks to be able to go in and piss without a worry in the world and sure that I would pass after a total of 10-11 weeks clean. Instead, I was worried sick for about a week, had to get a friend's urine, and had to spend my time practicing subbing. Don't get me wrong, IT ALL PAID OFF.

Thanks to this forum, I can now really start my career!

Do not rely on miracle potions, just do the time and sprinkle in some activity and you too can pass your test!!

Yup yup i smoked on 420 and the day after...
I ran a little everyday...
Skated.
Took a couple niacin throughout the time...
and passed the test in a matter of seven days.
Maybee it was luck i dont know.
But basicly exercising getting enough liqiuds everyday will do it i think.
What i always do is drink like a dark colored soda on my way to get tested.
either im lucky or it works.
Excersising is the best advice...
Stay hydrated and exersice
youll be good.

Stayed clean for about 2 weeks prior to test, regular (at least once per day for years) before that. I did the Pre-vale the night before and then the Vales Triple Stregth the day of.

If I ever have to do it again I will use the thin formula because that stuff was nasty and about as thick as cough syrup...at 7:30 am I had a hard time keeping it down.

Actually I will save myself the headache next time and just sub.

6'3 180 lbs, high metabolism. last smoked on 4/20 (2 hits of decent bud). before that, occasional smoker (a couple times a week...sometimes more) for the past few years. followed the dilution thread technique, with exception to the creatine supplement. instead, i just increased my red meat intake over the last 72 hours. went to walgreens and bought a home test ( i have to take mine at 5:30 pm EST). started consuming liquids at 1:30 pm (also took 3 aspirin...it's all i had) and have voided clear 3 times so far. have 8 tums ready to go for the ride to the facility. next time i have to piss i'm going to use the home test. will edit this post with updates. wish me luck!

p.s. it's a pre-employment drug test for a job that i really want.


update: just took the walgreens test. TWO FAINT LINES! (negative result obv.) i have to go for testing in 2 hours and couldn't be more relieved!
i'm clean! now i just hope i don't come back diluted...
