Background: I am 5'9" 125lbs female with an extremely fast metabolism and a night time smoker for about 4 years... got a job interview and was sure they would drug test and stopped smoking immediately, got offered the job at 15 days clean, I took home test and was passing at 11 days so I was confident going in, just drank enough to have to pee. Came home (thursday) had a couple hits and decided not to continue untill I got the results (just in case dilute) and then found out Monday that my sample was destroyed in transit Ok now I was freaking out... HR called and said I had to retake the test because it was destroyed, luckily for me I had planned a vacation that week and was able to postpone so that I would be 11 days clean for the next test... The HR woman told me "We have to have your results before you can start.... " I did a mild dilution using gatorade I had passed an at home test at 9 days (1st void)... That was Monday and today is Thursday... I got a call from HR this morning confirming my start date and everything I needed to bring with me. So my guess is I passed and it wasn't dilute... but I am still hesitant to smoke again...

Has anyone heard of HR confirming a start date just to later tell the person they need to retest for dilute? Thanks!

I passed my drug test . . . hooray for me!!! All I did was take 1 500mg pill of niacin every 5 hrs for about 3 days and with each pill I drug a liter of water (cold water helps with the burning sensation from the niacin) . . . took my drug test after drinking a liter of water and some green tea and passed . . . Niacin helps a lot!!!

So youre assuming that niacin was the reason?

What makes you think that the liter of water and green tea wasnt responsible for the pass?

I will post my results as I get them. I took a urine test at a CS and my test was split samples and sent to Labcorp in Charlotte, NC. Before quitting, I smoke daily of mid(bowl at night, couple on the weekends). I had abstained for 62-63 days, with exercise 2 days a week for one hour and virtually no change in diet. I am 5'10-11" and 195 lbs. The morning of the test I drank 2 large glasses of water and a Mt. Dew for lunch. I had voided 3 times before taking the test. I used midstream urine and the color was medium dark (presumably from Mt. Dew).

Well, the results are in. They called me today to tell me I had falied. So an average daily smoker with 2 days/wk exercise and abstaining for two months just failed. Thankfully I didnt quit my current job. Just goes to show the 30 day rule is garbage. I was clean for just over 60 days, and still tested positive. Good luck to all.

this board really helped me out. three times now.
i pretty much over loaded myself with everyones advice, mainly the stickys and the main users, and ive passed three seperate tests now within the last 3 years, all the while being a daily user.
this is what i did, though i dont recomend the overload, the last time it got messy. i am about 125-130 pounds, female and i work a pretty physical job, but other than that i am not an active person.
each time i had a week or so of notice, but i kept using untill two days before. i took different pills, such as vitamin b12, aspirin, azos, milk thistle and fiber pills. i had a diet of fruit and non greasy foods as well as red meat. i drank a total of 12 bottles of gatoraide with some water or apple juice inbetween, and before the tests i also drank a bottle of pickle juice. (which i dont suggest if u have a weak stomache) and i also purchased the drink everyone buys (although i dont think it does anything because the last time i bought two of them and the taste made me throw both of them up, leaving me to down some more gatoraide and just go for it, which worked.) i am not sure if these results were negative or dilute, most likley dilute. but its always been enough for my employers and my probation officer.

these methods worked for me, but sometimes made me very sick. i know it can be a nerve wracking experience, but listen to your body. dont make yourself sick, and good luck. :]

I agree. this board is a plethora of knowledge that would otherwise be unattainable. Crazy internet... but any ways i just got done taking my drug test earlier this week. Decided to sub and didnt want to fuck around so i went with the urinator along with cleartest's own concentrated synthetic urine that they sell on their site. Took the test Sunday and havent heard any bad news yet (today being Friday morning, 5 days later) so i think im in the clear. I had to take a physical in a gown and thus had to remove the urinator from my person and leave it in my pants. Had i tried to use body heat to maintain the temp of the urine sub the bottle would have gone cold during the physical. Had the urinator on for 2 1/2 hours with 2 new batteries and the temp came right out at 98. Im goin to bed. im an insomniac

I'm currently awaiting result of the confirmation test (not feeling very optimistic), and I will let you all know what happens. I'm not going to be "one of those" posters who comes here for a quick answer then never to return.

Unfortunately, I found this site too late to help me (I know I could have passed if I had), but if anything I post about my nightmare of a situation can help someone else avoid a similar fate, then at least I can say that some good came of it.
