I live in Canada, have a job opportunity in Canada working for a Fortune 200 US firm- I am visiting the HR department in the US within 7-14 days for the final round of interviews, I assume that a drug test will be part of the process.

I've smoked everyday for years- mid forties, 6'2" 200lbs not very active although I believe I have a high metabolizm (how can you be sure?)- stopped smoking 8 days ago and have begun running 2-3 miles in the hope that I can clean my system through excerise. When I go to the US I'll have been clean for about 3 weeks and will have excerised everyday for the same period

I've been reading the postings and understand the dilution method with Aspirin & tums - I have purchased "STAT" detox- I'm not sure which to use. Can I do both?

What are the chances I'll be tested when I go down? If they do test me will it be in the office or will they send me to a lab

I would say most likely they will send you too a lab. The only test I have ever had them give to me on the spot was a saliva test, and cannibus only shows up for like 12 hours or something on that, so that wasn't a problem. Every other test they send you to a lab. Try to get some Quick Fix or some clean urine and take that with you to the lab, but you may very well be clean by the time you go down there. Buy a home drug test and test yourself before getting ready to take the test. They usually give you till the next day to take the test (as far as my experiance goes). Good Luck!

Thanks- it sounds like I maybe able to push back and have the testing done at a lab in the great white north- get some more time.
I don't feel comfortable subbing-it'll mean I'll have to take it through the airport, not a good idea these days especially on international flights. The Dilution method has me concerned cuz I don't control the timing of events - I don't know when or where the test is
