Well its been 9 days since the test and I haven't heard anything. This test is part of a long hiring process so I won't hear from them for a while. That being said if I failed the test I would be disqualified from consideration. Has enough time passed that I should think I passed? Thanks.

Yeah, you would think they would let tell you thanks but no thanks right away if you failed the test. I think this a case where no news is good news. Good luck dude.

I would still chill on smoking until you know for sure. Call them and ask them about the job and maybe they will tell you then. Just a thought.

Thanks for the feedback. Day 10 and no word. I guess this is good. I really can't call them because they said they would be in touch for the next "phase" in the next few months. They must have the results by now anyway. It blows waiting and wondering.

The lab I use said that most employers want thier results back in 72 hours. Hope that helps ya out

I used to work at a drug testing company as a MRO (the person who gets the results from the lab and reports the results to the company who tested you) and if I did not have results within 72 hrs (as Hawg said) the company would be calling me screaming to get the results to them right away. MOST labs for pre-employment drug screening get their resuls within 24-48 hrs So....it is pretty safe to say you are ALL SET!
