Hello all,

I am going to have to take a pre-employment screen in a couple days to a week. I have been a regular smoker for about 6 years now. I smoked just about every day while I was in college. I was arrested for possession this past April and quit because I thought I might have to take a test and I was looking for a job. (Had the charges reduced by the way). I was sober for about 3-4 monthes. I started smoking again around the last week in June/first week in July. Since then I've been smoking pretty regularly. I would say I smoke daily but I never really smoke myself silly. I have a one foot bong that I will hit around 4-5 thoughout the day(mostly in the evening) and that's about it. I would smoke the occasional blunt on the weekend but mostly for the 3 1/2 monthes I've been just hitting the bong, nothing real crazy.

The last time I smoked was one hit from my bong, early Wednesday morning. I am 24 years old, 5'6", 155 lbs with about 10% or less body fat and was a college athlete. I work outside doing manual labor and definately drink lots of water and gatorade throughout the day. Normally I hit the bong a couple times in the evening after work.

(Sorry if this is getting long)...I took an At Home Drug Test about a half hour ago (Monday, October 31), 6 days since I've last smoked (I'm not really counting the one small hit early Wednesday morning). I passed. At least I'm pretty sure I passed. The instructions and the website were adamant that if there is even a faint line showing the results were negative. You could barely see it but there was definately a line there. Does the intensity of the line mean anything? Like I said "faint" is definately the word for the T line, but it was there. Did I pass?

I've passed two drug tests in the past taking a cleansing drink and both of those times I had smoked like 2 days earlier. I really need to pass this test because a) I need this job, and b) two people put themselves out there and recommended for this job, one being my friends dad. Even more than I want the job for myself, I don't want to embarrass them by failing a drug test.

I'm leaning towards taking the drink again because it's worked in the past but I'd rather not have it not come back as a false negative. C'mon experts help me out! Do you think I should take the drink or should I just take it normal. I'm guessing when I take the test it'll be around 1 1/2 to 2 weeks since I've smoked.

I'm definately going to try another At Home Test before I have to take the test, and I'm going to take it in the morning this time (like I read in another post). Once I bought it though I couldn't resist giving it a try.

Alittle more about me....I take a multivitamin every day and drink at least one cup of coffee a day.

And I'm not worried about spending money on the cleansing drink if it will work.

Are you sure? I took the "home test" and passed. I've only been clean for one week??? I'm a female 5'5 115lb, maybe it's my fast metabolism? Bottom line... Is the test at Walgreens the same as what they give you for pre-employment?

I use the Wallgreens test's and they have not failed me yet. If you pass one of them at 50 ng then a pre emp at 50 ng is a cinch

Are all the home tests 50 ng? I have taken 2, smoked 4 days ago and passed.

All of the ones that I have seen are. You might be able to order some online tht are lower but I am not sure.
