hello everyone...this is my very first time posting on this site...and my very first drug test.
anyways...
I have a drug test for a very important internship in 2 days (wednesday)...and i've already bought some QuickFix from a local headshop.
Okay heres the situation...
On wednesday morning i have to show up at my actual job site at 8AM to sign some papers and do an eye exam (i've got the job already by the way, i just have to pass this test). after i do this i'm supposed to drive over to the actual drug testing facility (about 10-15 min. from my job site) to submit my drug test. the thing is that i live about 40 minutes from the job site. my plan is to wake up at 6AM, activate the heating pouch that came with QuickFix and let it sit for an hour. so when 7AM comes around, i'm going to pop the urine in a microwave for 10-12 seconds, wrap the heating pouch around the bottle and head out towards my workplace. i will arrive at about 8AM with traffic...
So my question is this:
after i take care of the paperwork at the job site, i will most likely be arriving at the drug testing facility around 9AM. thats about 2 hours after ive heated it in the microwave and wrapped the already warm heating pouch around it. does anybody with prior QuickFix experience think that the temperature of the urine will still be good by the time i get there?
i will be wrapping the bottle and the heating pad with an ace bandage and i will stash it right where my junk is with the help of two tight undies..so the heating pad will be attached to it all the way up to when i put it in their cup.
i would conduct a test at home, but i dont want to use up the single heating pouch that came in the box.
does anybody think this is a good plan?
does anybody have a better plan?
id really like to heat up the bottle in a microwave after i leave the job site and on the way to the drug testing facility but i have no access to one..but is this necessary?
any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it would. The heatpak lasts up to six hours


Pick up some handwarmer packs at any shop that specializes in hunting/sporting goods, Walmart also carries them in the same section. They are essentially the same type heatpak as the one in the QF box.


En route to the "drop-site", you can stop at a convenient mart that has a mic and heat the QF then.

My micro wave at 10 seconds puts it at about 100 and 11 seconds will put it over 100. You sound like you have a plan just swish it around in the cup or blow on it to cool it off if it is too hot

just got back from the testing facility...
it was a SUCCESS!
temperature was perfect.
one thing that freaked me out though..
when i popped the bottle in the microwave for 10 seconds, i took it out and looked at the temp. strip, and it had no color at all. i thought it wasnt warm enough so i put it back in for another 8 seconds, and still no color at all. so i was a little worried/mad b/c i thought i got a faulty temp. strip or something. i didnt have any time to figure out what the problem was so i just slapped the heat pack on the bottle and left...in a hurry! so after getting there and was done signing the paperwork, i checked the strip again...no color! sooo...i went to a drug store and picked up a digital thermometer. i checked the temp. of the urine and it was like 107 degrees! i was like..holy ****! (keep in mind, im checking the temp. about 2 hours after i initially heated it in the microwave and slapped the heat pack on)...so i cooled it down a little with my A/C in my car and slapped the heat pack on it to keep the temp. steady.
for anyone living in the phoenix,AZ area, the lab i went to was called:
s o u t h w e s t l a b o r a t o r i e s.
they dont watch you..they dont pat you down..all you do is empty your pockets to show you dont have anything that might affect the sample, you put your stuff back into your pockets, and you go into the bathroom *alone* closing the door and locking it yourself. you should know what to do from there...
it was very very simple!
now all i have to do is see if the urine i gave them passes...

That is why you should not go over 10-11 seconds when heating it as it puts it way over 100 degrees. Glad to here everything went ok for you
