I took my test a few days ago with Labcorp and failed. I had been clean for a month and was testing negative with the home tests I had purchased. I also cleaned my system as per instructions I had found on this site. I followed the instructions to the "T" with these results. I am not sure what ahppened but they are now asking that I pay them $125.00 to retest the same sample. As you can well guess, I am just a little pissed not at this site but at myself for the results.

Okay now I am really nervous. My test is also going to labcorp. Did you take a home test the day of your real test?

Man that sucks! I have failed a few (2) drug tests before, and it always makes you angry (or me anyways). Never failed one a month clean tho. Do you know the cut-off level for the test? I really have never failed a test after passing a home test. Sorry man.

I had been taking B vitiams and Creataine a few days before and since I'm a big guy I took twice the amount of Creatine as smaller folks do. This and had also took Quick Detoxx that I had on hand as well the morning of the test. I took a home test the morning of the test and was a nice line showing negative so I thought I'm cool and set to go. My system should have been flushed or at least diluted as per the instructions I found here. I didn't drink anything but a 16oz Gatorade on the way to the test site and even took a extra asprin as the test site was about a hour or so from me. I go there sign, wash my hands, did my thing and got a call this morning that I had failed. The person on the other end asked me specifically if I took marinol or another med and when I asked her why she told me that they foind mairjuana specifically. I asked about THC and all she said was they found mairjuana in the test. I take a lot of meds and some have been known to produce a false positive. she didn't even want to discuss this at all. All she kept saying was they found marijuana in the test. I can have the same sample retested for $125.00 which I am most likely going to do. I am also going to have my personal doctor test me this week to insure there are no foul ups. This test from another independent source and a statement from my doctor on the meds I take will hopefully blow them out of the water. It amy cost some but damn it if this be the price of freedom then so be it. I feel like I'm ready to go to war with them behind this stupid test crap. I am to the point of not even wanting to work for anyone that thinks in this manner and wants to control employees after 5:00. May start up a business and hire right from this site.

The only reason I can think of is that the home test is a 50 ng cutoff and the test you took might have been at a lower cutoff level

I used all the same tests purchased at the same time, at the same store. It didn't say what the cut off was on the box or anywhere that I could find so I don't know just what it is. If there was a lower cut off it was at Labcorp. It also struck me as strange that they mentioned marijuana by name and didn't say a word about THC in the test. I was asked about marinal and if I had taken it. My sister did as she had cancer and loved it. It was she said the only thing good about the whole thing. She was a funny lady.

I just found out that the home tests I used (Pharmatech) had a 50ng/mL cutoff. I would say that it was LabCorp I believe uses a 20ng/mL cutoff or lower and is why I tested positive. I am still not smoking and am taking my vitiams serious as well as diet as I am getting tested independantly real soon to challenge that positive test. I do like a good fight sometimes. Makes a person feel alive!

After marijuana use, urine contains as many as 8 different breakdown products of THC. All of these combine together to cause a SCREEN test to read preliminary (or positive). At the laboratory, the confirmation test is designed to detect only ONE. The one substance must be present at 15ng/mL in order for the lab to consider the urine positive. If the substance is present at 14ng/mL or lower, the urine will be considered negative.
