That faint line on the home test

I did a home test today (after 2 weeks of abstinence) using one of those Walgreens home test kits. There is an EXTREMELY faint line, showing negative according to the directions. I'm still a bit worried and not sure if I should still attempt dilution for the real test. How reliable is the home test, even when it's a very faint line?

another thing they told me on the forum was to always test your first morning pee. I however did not do that - but tested my pee at like 5 the first time and 8pm the next - both with a faint line HOWEVER with no dilution and going in for the test boldly last wednesday i just got a call that I PASSED!!!!!!!!!! Wow this is wonderful news - the first time I ever passed a test on my own - last time I took one I did not pass and tried one of those cleaning products which is SUCH a waste of money

They are pretty reliable butwhen in doubt do another test for peace of mind. Maybe go with a mild dillution method to make sure.
