I took two hits off a joint 35 days ago and it was the first time I had smoked in 18 years (believe it or not). Go to work this morning and my name rolls up for testing for only the 2nd time in eight years there (no I'm not under suspicion-just BAD luck). Don't exercise and am 6'0 245lbs. Have to test either Tues. Wed. or Thurs. of this week. Someone knowledgable PLEASE tell me if I am ok or if I should fake sick for the rest of the week.

good to hear but.......what makes you say that? I'm a novice and my inquiries today say thc could be stored in my system for up to 5 weeks, making me right on the borderline (a risk I cannot take). Being overweight scares me even more as I'm told that thc is stored in fat cells. is the "amount" i smoked relevant? is the lenghth of time since I last smoked relevant? It may seem like I'm trippin' and I am but I cannot jeopardize my job.

Only habitual users will test positive for such a long time. One time users are usually clean within 72 hours. So seeing as you were clean before you smoked and it has been over 30 days which is usually enough for some everday smokers I know you are in the clear. Rest assured you are clean. You have nothing to worry about.

Hello, I just read about your misfortune......and I too think you are safe. I do have a solution if you want to try it. I used to smoke the night before and get tested in the morning many years ago. I went to the local grocery store and bought a box called Certo. I think its spelled that way. It is a fruit pectin used in making jellows, or canning fruit and foods. It comes in 2 pouches......it is very thick and syrup like......I used to mix in a large glass of Orange Juice. Take one pack tonight....and the other before you test. and you wont have any problem. It cannot be detected......and the nanogram levels are under the radar. This is something I used.....it worked for me and a few others who used to indulge.......good luck DadinPain

The only reason Certo works (when it does) is because of the dilution factor. You can do just as well with Gatorade, better in fact. Sports drinks contain electrolytes that support the specific gravity of your sample.
