I get the results for a pre-employmeny drug test tomorrow. What is the absolute worst theat could happen if I fail?

The worst thing that could happen is, they won't hire you.... that's it, although that would suxx ... and you'd be looking again.

Ok well I guess i'm just being paronoid. I was thinking I might have to take some kind of a rehab thing. ok, well, the thing that really sucks is thats ive been at a temp job since may, and lost a job before that for other reasons. which means that if I lose this job, i'll have 2 year gap on my resume.

Will a failed drug test show up on future backround checks?

ok, thank you. thats very comforting. I'm still pissed off though. I feel so violated by having to take a drug test. But this sight is VERY informative and helpful, Thanks a bunch.

Doesn't someone still contact you from the lab ? I remember that being a little uncomfortable . They just asked maybe a have dozen questions as to why a sample might be positive ? Embarrassing, but not really bad .
