Ok, I will try to make this one brief. I quit smoking at the end of October when I found out I was pregnant. I started a new job earlier this week and had to submit to a drug test. I wasn't worried because it had been over 30 days since I had smoked and for at least 3 weeks before that, I had seriously tapered my consumption. I got a call from HR this morning that I failed my drug test, that the lab had found pot in my system. I am stunned and devastated. My doctor has me on Phenergan to control my nausea, and I have read in a couple of places that it can affect a test. Does anyone here have any experience with this? How could there still be pot in my body?

Ask for a retest. Then you can sub.

Try an at home test first to see if it is negative and if so then raise hell about the first one or go with Grill's advice.

Well, he told me that there was no way that the Phenergan affected the test. I asked for a retest and he said he would get back with me. I haven't heard anything yet, but I'm not hopeful. This sucks.
