i got pulled over for a DWI in Texas where I refused my breathalizer and I'm fighting it with a lawyer. That aside.
My question is this:

Suppose I end up with some sort of probation or community service. I assume I will be drug tested during this time? Does this mean I can't smoke at all or will I be able to feel confident about the dilution technique to at least have an occasional toke. I don't care if I have to lay off and not smoke everyday but I'd like to at least have a toke from time to time. I'd hate to have to lay off for up to two years....

Has anyone a comment on my worries?

my friend got arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication at a club. he only has to take a class. wait till u go to court they will give you a deal...you ALWAYS have a choice when it comes to the law, just make the right one... Im not really into the legalities but if its a felony tell ur lawyer to request drug court, thats what im in its for a year, 27 more days woohoo!!!

It depends on whether or not you'll be subject to random drug testing. If you know you'll only be tested once a month on a particular date then you'd be fairly safe smoking for a while after you've had a test. If they can call you in for a test at any time, dilution isn't going to do you any good. If the test is observed, which is the case with a lot of probation testing, you can't sub either.

If I was subject to random testing I'd just quit smoking until I was no longer under that threat.
