| k no one told me that i'm getting a drug test and i'm pretty sure it wasn't a drug test the nurse just asked for a urine sample so i was like thats cool i'll do it....so my question is can they just see that u have smoked weed in the urine or do they have to put a certain chemical in the urine to test for weed....like do they specifically have to test for weed to see the weed in ur urine |

| If you were visiting the Doctor for a medical reason (i.e.: you aren't feeling well, have cronic organ disease, whatever), the Doctor probably won't test for THC unless he/she suspects that may be a cause of your symptoms. Even if the Doctor tests for, and finds THC in yor system, he/she cannot tell anyone (except your parents if you are underage) of the results due to patient/doctor confidentiality. If you were visiting the Doctor for a employer required physical, then yes, they probably will test for illegal substances and report the findings to an employer. |
