okay. I had to take a pre-employment urine test on sunday. THe test was a 35105 SAP 5-50 w/NIT quest test. The weekend prior I toked it up... I mean some serious dank ****, a couple of times at least ( and I may have sneaked some hits in during the weekends prior to that...). so... freaked out when I got a call the next day for an interview! well I went to GNC and bought a STRIP NC grape drink hoping it would help..... and did a little exercising, drank tons of water, took cranberry pills.... and I took 3 at home THC tests (since thats the only thing that would be in my system anyway) well I had a faint line on my home test that morning, so I continued drinking plenty of water. So ... at the moment I am still buggin' out because I dont know if the test cuts off at 50ng or 15ng's (Ive read mixed messages about it) and Im just praying that I fell below the cutoff marks. I will keep you posted on my results.

The test you described does have a 50 ng cutoff limit, as indicated by the "SAP 5-50". As long as your home test carried a 50 ng limit, you should be good to go. ![]() Just for S&Gs, take another home test on the morning of your scheduled test, using the first void of the day. This time, verify that this test kit cuts off at 50 ng (like the SAP 5-50 screen), and check your results. Remember, theres no meaning attributed to the color intensity of the lines. A faint line is still a line. If you still test negative with this latest test, then your definitely good to go.

I took the test on sunday 1/15.... to have given the testing facilities the maximum 72 hours, I figured if anything was wrong I would hear of it by today. SO Ive heard nothing. I actually picked up the phone and called the MRO on my control form. I was told that they did not have the results and that the company the test was for receives their results online. SHe said if I wanted to know the results I need to call the employer. whats up with that? ![]()

Sometimes that is the way the employer sets up their account with the lab and the MRO. It's a bummer, but "he who pays, sets the rules" is usually the way it is in all aspects of life. The test you described is exactly the same test that the #2 retailer in the U.S. uses for their pre-employment tests. The MRO for that retailer, is the MRO for about 1/10 of the Non-regulated drug testing in the U.S. (just an educated guess using my own data). When a MRO gets that big, they won't usually waste time talking to donors, everything is so automated that the employer just accesses the results online. It didn't used to be that way, but it is becoming more and more the rule than the exception. sorry. Also, for pre-employment, the employer sometimes won't call you with positive results. They just NEVER call. Employers just go to their 2nd place candidate for the position, and send that person for a test and so on... until someone passes the drug test.
