First, let me say that this is a great resource. I've been lurking for a bit, but I wanted to post my situation directly for more peace of mind. My dream job does pre-employment screening. I'll be interviewing for it within a couple of weeks; I have no idea how soon they'd test were I to get the job. Since I want it so badly, I'm willing to sacrifice and quit for a bit to be certain.

Here are my stats:

5'8", 125 lbs, very high metabolism and I vigorously exercise 3X per week. At worst, I smoke 5x per week, at best, 2x. 3x is probably the most realistic average.

So, when should I quit? For the record, I will still dilute to be sure. Thanks so much for your help!

to much human variation, i suggest stop using now....

I quit a month before my drug screen and then I used N@ dilution method. (Use gatorade not water). The first time I drank water and I came back diluted, the second time I used Gatorade and multivitamins and I passed no problem. Good Luck!

This is your "dream job."
Isn't it worth being as sure as you can you'll pass?
Your metabolism may be high but there's too much interperson variance to say anything for sure.
If you want to be able to sleep at night AND get your dream job, stop now.
Test yourself at home a few days before the interview. If you fail, start reading up on dilution or subbing.
Plan a big party for when you land your dream job, and resume toking then...with a nice big bowl as a reward.

The marijuana Forces want to enhance your life, not ruin it. It is against their credo to interfere with you getting the job. The Force will only run stronger in you if you can abstain for now. Do not infest and poison your life and risk losing the job opportunity for a few highs.

P.S. Don't mean to sound so preachy, it just came out that way.

It's just hard waiting it out, especially when there's not a clear date. I will home test for peace of mind, though. How much $ do those thing usually run?

You can also buy home tests I've heard at Walmart or Target. I'm not sure if pharmacies carry them.

If you do a search for "home tests" in Titles Only, you'll come up with a bunch of info on this site.
