How much time would you get? Could you tell them you needed to drink water...how would you buy time to prepare your clean sample?

According to protocol, you would have no notice and virtually no chance to obtain a substitution.

When I go to a company to test "John Doe". The DER (Designated Employer Representative) asks "John Doe" to come to his/her office. There "John" is told that he has been selected for a drug test.

I begin filling the paperwork with "John". Then we go to the restroom. There, I isolate the water sources (tape up or turn off the faucet, color the toilet water, check cabinets, etc.). I give "John" the instructions on how far to fill the cup, not to flush, etc... If "John" then says that he cannot pee right then, thats ok. I tell "John" that he can to back to his office and I follow him and sit with him for up to 3 hours, allowing him to drink up to 40 oz of water spread out evenly over the 3 hours.

If "John" drives for a living, or works in a factory where I cannot follow him back to his job, then "John" is required to sit with me in an office or other private area until either 3 hours has passed or "John" can give me a specimen.

"John" cannot leave my sight. If he must go out to his car for something, I follow; if "John" must go into another office, I follow. This sometimes makes for an interesting afternoon, but most of the time, when someone only SAYS they cannot pee, then discover that I cannot leave them alone, usually they wait only 20 minutes or so and they will go ahead and pee.

Same process if you come to my office, clinic, etc. If you cannot pee, we wait for up to 3 hours. I have magazines for you to read, but I cannot let you leave the testing site. If you do leave, I must note that on the form, and it is recorded as a refusal. (All refusals are considered positive).

Wow...so you'd need to have a Urinator stashed in your crotch the rest of your life...sheesh..what If i say i need to have a bowel movement, but can't pee? I could then begin heating the sample in my urinator..then pee for you later. Seriously, what should a person do to feel safe from a surprise test?


What if you made a pendant with some clear choice or urine luck stashed in it and wore it like dogtags?

I was thinking similar along those lines. Get some kind of smuggling shoes with a false heel. Never have to even think about it.

James Bond shoes, no. If you keep it your sock it'll keep warm, enough to start the heat pad and pass the test

Excellent idea just activate the heat pad and wait till it is warm enough and then drop.
