ok, so I bought a test kit from walgreens yesterday, and took the test this morning, I had one solid line, and a very faint line (the C was dark, and the T was of faint color). The booklet says that result is negative even with a faint second line, so am I ok for a DOT ua this wednesday, or take some creatine, and pills now and keep pigging out??? Please helpl me one more time and thank you. I just need some more assurance that I can get this way better job then I have, and I have vowed to never smokre Maryjane, unless it becomes legel

The T line will be faint, the booklet drawing even shows it that way.
I thought DOT tests were unobserved?
If so, you can get clean urine or quick fix and smoke all you want.
If you're gonna test weds, you need to start creatine now.
Read the dilution threads on top thouroughly and follow to the letter if you want to dilute.

Thank you for responding, so do you think I should sub even though the first test shouwed a negative? I dont want to raise any suspicions? Thanks once again

Nothing beats substituting. All you have to do is make sure it's about 95 degrees or so. You need to practing carrying your sub, and check the temperature. Think of all the worrying you'll save knowing there's no chance you can fail the test, since it's clean urine. Once the tester checks the box on the test stating the temp was normal, you will no worries and can't fail.

Pre-employment DOT tests are unobserved along with MOST randoms. The times these DOT tests ARE observed is if the collector sees an adulterant, the temperature is out of range, the color is not right (I'm not talking about faint color or "clear" urine, but rather blue or green color), etc.

Another time an observed test can be done is if this is a "follow-up" or "return-to-duty" test. If the SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) determines that an observed test is needed, that's what is done. These tests are done after the "donor" has been found positive on a previous test and has completed all required substance abuse counseling and is now returning to his normal (safety sensitive position) job.
