Hey. I'm 5'11'', and I weigh 190 lbs. I have medium metabolism, and I play sports almost every day for at least half an hour. I was wondering for what they test for in an urinalysis. I went to the doctor's today to get my physical form filled out, and he said my blood pressure was a tiny bit on the high side, according to the new standards. However, he said that according to the old standards, i'm fine. My dad's mom has high blood pressure, so my doctor wants me to get a blood test to make sure. I'm not too worried about the blood tests, because I heard that THC will leave the blood in about 3 days. However, on the form for the blood test, it also says that I need to get an Urinalysis w/ microscopic. Will my urine be tested for THC? I'm a new smoker, and I've only smoked 5 times in the past month and a half, the most recent being 8 days ago. I'm planning to smoke more starting friday, but only if they dont check for THC in an urinalysis w/ microscopic. Thanks.

Microscopic examination has nothing to do with testing for THC. Drug tests are not a usual part of physical exams. You have every right to ask what the tests are for and to refuse any tests you don't want.

What Buzzby said. Simply ask the doctor what he is looking for in each of the tests. I highly doubt he is looking for drugs.
