I just received a great job offer. The last time I smoked was yesterday (2/22). I have been a daily smoker of the good stuff for several years. I have a fast metabolism and am 6'4 175lbs.

The offer actually says:

"This offer is contingent upon you successfully passing required drug testing, with a facility designated by our company. The cost of this test will be the responsibility of OUR COMPANY. I will provide you with the required forms and a list of facilities during orientation on Monday, February 27th where you may take this test on a walk-in basis. "

So it looks like I'll actually start the job and go to orientation, where they'll give me a list of facilities to go. On Monday, Feb 27th I'll be almost 5 days clean. I have read the dillution method and am seriously thinking about going this route, but I still know there is a chance to either come up dillute or positive. After hours of research on this great site, I am leaning towards subbing. If I sub, I'll probably go with quickfix because it would be hard to find clean urine and even weirder asking for it.

My question is, for a pre-employment screen, would they be able to distinguish real urine vs the synthetic urine? I like quickfix because it already comes in the container and has a temp strip.

I'll probably do both methods and make my decision at go time. Or am I just stressing myself out too much and would it be better to just go with the subbing? I dont' know that makes me so nervous.

Well, I just purchased some quickfix 4.0. I bought 2 and get an extra one for free because of a special they are running this month.

I will run some temp tests when I get the product. I am very nervous to try this method, especially with the synthetic stuff, but from what I've read, this is the way to go. I will also stop smoking and try the dillution method as well, but I think, if not observed, the subbing is the way to go.

i bought 2 bottles of quick fix at my local headshop and took my test on friday. Its now thursday and im still workin my new job. With the results i have got and read i wouldn't recommend any other way to gaurentee that you get the job! If you have any questions or need any tips you should be able to find everything here or you can always just ask me or check out my thread.

No. As long as your QF batch is not old, and had been stored away from direct sunlight, it will pass all drug tests.

Yes, there is a way to tell if its synthetic but labs are bound down by regulations and protocols which dictate what they can test for and what not. Labs (US) are only allowed to test for drug metabolites and check the Ph, specific gravity, creatnine and excessive nitrites. As long as the batch of QF is fresh and not exposed to direct sunlight, it will pass these integrity checks. If the batch is old or had been exposed to direct sunlight, the components break down, sending up a red flag with the lab tech.
So feel safe to use QF 4.0.

I have done 3 test on the QF 4.0 and passed all 3.
1. was a home test kit (passed)
2. I sent the sample to the test kits lab.(Passed)
3. Took a pre employment SAP 5-50 W/NIT Test. (Passed)

I also saved the empty bottles for Temp.Testing.
Heres what I did and my results.
First I filled the QF bottle with cold tap water then took the heating pad and taped it to the side of the bottle without the temp. strip.
Put it under my nuts and in about 1 hour it was @ 92 degrees.As time went on the heating pad made it warmer till it peaked at 98-100 degrees.
It held this temp for 10 hours.*Note: The heating pads get to peak temp in 2-3 hours.

After that I poured it out and refilled it with cold tap water again.(even tho the pad had stoped heating I left it taped to the bottle)
This time I went out in 30 degree weather and put it on my defroster on my dash of my car with the heat pad down as the heat from the defroster heated the pad and bottle it took 20 mins to reach 95 degrees. put it under my nuts again for 30 mins with the heating pad on the side of my whitey tightys.
After I looked it had held a temp. of 94 degrees.
Wal-Mart has heating pads (Hand Warmers) 6 for $2
In a pinch stall for time get a hot coffee always good for a quick heat.
(for this you may want to put it in a zip lock baggie to save the temp strip.)
I used QuickFix 4.0 on a SAP 5-50 W/NIT test for a pre employment and it passed.
So I must say QF 4.0 works if you hand it to the collector @ 90-100 degrees.
SAP 5-50 W/NIT
SAP = Substance Abuse Panel
5 = Five types of drugs being tested
50 = 50 ng/ml cutoff limit for THC
W/NIT = with Nitrites check. The labs will be checking for excessive amounts of this component to determine adulteration
