I know this is a pot site, but I figured I might still get answers...My buddy is on probation for a DUI. He is supposed to avoid drugs and drinking during that time. He goes to see the person once a month--March will be his first official time since being sentenced.

Anyway, he drinks from time to time, and wanted me to post if anyone knows the standard testing done. Do most POs do urine tests? I've read that as long as he doesn't drink within a couple of days of the test, he'll be clean. How common is it to do blood, hair, etc. for a DUI situation?

I've heard about liver testing, but isn't this extreme? Just wondering...

I know it is off topic but it will show up as EGT on a urine test which is what he will probably have and can be detected up to 5 days after consumption
