Whoa!! I had to do a volunteer thing over the weekend and didn't have access to a computer. What excitement I missed! On a REGULATED test, if a collection facility is not following protocol and regulation by not observing when it is clearly called for, then they can suffer consequences such as being disqualified and banned from doing REGULATED collections. For NON-REGULATED tests, it is totally up to the employer whether to observe or not based on employee record and past test results. For COURT ORDERED tests, it is totally up to the individual court or test administrator (Parole or probation Officer, Jailer, whatever) whether to observe or not. 999 out of 1000 of these types of tests are observed. If Okeydokeypokey has never failed a test for his "PO", then MAYBE the "PO" thinks that Okeydokeypokey is clean and therefore has no past record to justify an observed test. MAYBE the "PO" is new to the job and hasn't been burned yet by being made a fool of in court by getting caught not doing his/her job correctly. MAYBE he/she is just lazy and is doing the bare minimum as ordered by the court system. MAYBE your "PO" is assuming that the hospital/clinic knows that this should be observed and hasn't discussed this issue with the collectors (or read the paperwork carefully). Whatever your case is, it is not NORMAL and VERY RARELY happens. The only reason the hospital/clinic is not observing your tests is because they have not been told that this is a required observed test. If you want to post your experience with the drug testing process, there are "results" threads in which to do just that. We try not to give advice that is not "mainstream". In other words, if it is not procedure or a practice generally for everyone in a same situation, please refrain from emphasizing that the advice given should be used in everyone's situation. The advice you gave would throw up all sorts of red flags to most parole/probation officers in the country. The main gist of your advice tells any parole/probation officer that you are trying to get out of, or alter a test procedure. Both Hawg and I feel that giving and taking advice of this sort is irresponsible and misleading. BTW: I would not mess with someone's signature. That shows disrespect and is just plain rude. The reason for the "horse hockey" comment is that you posted pretty much the same post in two separate threads. I gave a detailed explaination of why your advice would not work (and should not be used) in the first thread that I saw this advice posted. Apparently you did not read that post or I would not have had to give this lengthy explaination again here. While I do not indulge in MJ, I understand that most people use it to help them relax and "be mellow" . Do tell me, why exactly are you using MJ? ![]()

In the city where I work, Those out on bail (as a condition of their bail) for a drug related crime must submit to twice weekly drug tests. The donor must pay (about $20 give or take a couple of bucks) for an instant test done during a 1-1/2 hour time frame on Monday and Thursday (or Tuesday and Friday, etc.) of each week. ALL of those tested during this time frame are observed If they don't pay, they aren't tested and it is considered a refusal. The tests are conducted at the courthouse. They used to be conducted by a police officer (or deputy), now they are conducted by a third party administrator (someone who bid for this work and won the bid contract). Also, those on probation are tested by the probation officer whenever the probation officer feels is necessary, either at the probationers home or at the probation office. They are 100% observed, instant type of tests with no opportunity to have a non-negative specimen sent in to a lab for confirmation. These tests are usually paid for by the State.

To contribute helpful, constructive advice based on my knowledge of testing & collection procedures. I assume you are here to either do the same or learn something.

SO, anyways... ive never used handwarmers before. ive never had too. It has always stayed warm enough just in a baloon, between the girls or the legs, but the last time i tested it wasnt!! thank god she took it anyway. but she said she said she wouldnt next time. i do not want to risk that again, i hope she dont make anyone watch me now that that happened. i dont think she will. Her and my P.O. do not communicate, other than them sending the results. Anywho, about them handwarmers i bought like 10 a few days ago and im going to start using them but i dont know if they will work. they say they get up to 156 but they seem to cool down a litte when theyre against your body. So what brand is the best, i got 'grabber mycoal' heat treat hand warmers. the kind you dont have to shake, ingredients are, iron, water, cellulose, vermiculite, activated carbon and salt. AM i good? or paranoid?? they should be good, i mean ive never even needed em before, so any little bit should be enough.
