Default Taking Drug Test in about 2 weeks

This is a pre-employed drug screen, so I'm assuming an EMIT. Although the employer says a blood test, (most have said that) I'm suspecting it could be a simple urine test, or a combination of both urine + blood.

I've abstained for a week already, and have until 3/13 or 3/14 before my drug test.

Before abstaining, I've smoked a bowl per night, sometimes a couple on the weekends for about a year.

My stats:
Height: 5'10
Weight: 170
Age: 22
Gender: Male

I've considered using the dilution method N2 has given on the forums, and I'll be practicing some before the test as well. I'm not an athletic, but I'm going to the gym to run on the treadmill out of spite of burning fat, to clean myself faster.

I've never messed around with subbing, should I try that? I'm afraid I'll get busted if they see me trying to sub, and I wouldn't know how to control the temperature. I do not have the time to practice since I'll be travelling other parts of the world and will be coming back, and the next day will be my drug screen. I'm considering telling the lab to hold on another day due to jetlag, but I also want to get this over with.

Also, what I'm looking for is any advice on how to prepare myself starting RIGHT NOW would be appreciated. Most of the guides I've seen are like 2-day quick fixes, not for the long 21-day term upon which I've been looking for, and now I have less than 16 days, approx.

Also, regarding the blood test I heard it'll be flushed out of your system in about 2-3 days so I guess I shouldn't be too worried about this.

Long-term solutions?

Those answers posted in your signature are for short-term quick-fixes. Yes, I'm also considering them but I also want to get my own body clean.

I was looking for suggestions along the lines of
- Fat burning pills?
- Types of exercises, how long I should do them per day up on a 14-day basis
- et cetera

The only real thing that will get your body clean is time. To get as much THC out of your body before your test, try to work out daily, something aerobic that gets your body burning fat. For the two or three days before the test stop exercising and start to eat a lot to go back in to fat storage mode so your blood thc concentration, and hence your urine concentration, drops. You can order some home tests from ebay and test yourself at home during the week prior to the test. If still positive you have to sub or dilute. For now, drink about 32-64 oz water daily which will keep your kidney blood flow maximal, though you don't need to be aggressively hydrating more than that.

If it is a blood test, then you only need a few days, which you have already done. If it's urine, it really depends on many factors. I wouldn't give my own urine sample unless I've been clean 2 months, but that's just me being paranoid. You would probably be ok with diluting because you've actually abstained for a long time.
I have a test next week and I am going to sub. I already bought the quickfix and have been practicing temperature. I just want to know that when I leave the testing facility, I gave a clean sample. I don't want to have the dreaded wait of hearing back.

Thanks, I'll probably do just that. I already bought a take-home drug test kit, so I'll be testing myself prior to the drug screen, and see what happens. I already started bike riding today (exercise bike) hoping to sweat every bit of THC out of my fat into my blood, so I can pee it out properly. :-)

Well, I mentioned I'll follow up.

I went and took the test today, thinking positive that I could pass my blood test and my urine test (using dilution, even though FirstCheck take-home tests had a very faint line in the THC portion).

I was rather nervous, though, but I went through the doors and signed in. I waited for about five minutes, then a lab tester called out my name. I went in and she showed me a paper. To my dismal shock, it said, "HAIR COLLECTION TEST" or something like that.

No way I could beat that with just three weeks of being clean, so eh. It's not the end of the world, but I do have one question... do people conduct background checks on your drug test history? As far as I know, the lab procedures and results are confidential to future potential employers, so I am assuming the same with bg checks, but the government is so high up in authority I'm not even 100% sure about this.

Anyhoo.

Good luck to the rest of you taking future tests. :-)
