i think you were responding to a thread from 2006, so the likelihood of getting an answer from the person who started it is slim to none.

call your insurance rep, ask him or her what the underwriting process is, and specifically ask if they test for thc. your insurance agent wants you to pass so that you get the policy and he or she gets the commission.

while it is true that most forms list thc as one of the drugs being screened, i have heard from several underwriters that several companies do not test for thc. that does not mean that this company does or does not.

no one here can answer your question for sure. your best bet is to call the company and ask. if you don't have a contact, call the company, ask for underwriting, and ask your question. block your number if you are concerned. you'd be surprised at how much information you can get by asking.

Thank you for the information I will contact the underwriter and see if i can get more information on THC from him. this would be a great start for me and I would prefer not to use my name or my own information.

you shouldnt have to give them your name. just call and make up some bs like, you have some employees and you want to offer life insurance to them, but you need to know if there is a test for thc, and the cut-off - ha, ha, i'm concerned about one of my guys

or, i want to get a policy for my wife, and i am concerned, blah blah blah

or, simply ask - hey, do you test for thc and in what quantities.

i'm pretty sure that once you ask, they have to tell you. it's your urine after all.
