Hi and thanks for reading: I have a non DOT pre-employment test in a couple of days and have a question regarding DILUTION. I've spent a great deal of time reading all of the info here especially N2s SUB/DILUTION hints.

I'm planning on subbing with QuickFix4.0 with dilution as a backup. I've practiced the subbing techniques and thing I have that down pretty well. After practicing dilution I know I have a problem with my creatine and specific gravity.

I following N2s dilution info but also mixed in the addition of tums/rolaids...for the liquid I used Gatoraid mixed at the normal strength. Upon testing myself I was well below the cutoff for THC...so I can attest this part of it worked well!

But after testing with an UringCheck 7 adulteration strip I found my specific gravity was LOW, how low I can't be sure because the numbers on the instruction sheet were very small, but I can say the specific gravity scale included one dark blue color in the ABNORMAL range, which I think is labeled as 1.003, also included 3 colors in the NORMAL and one in the HIGH range. MY SAMPLE CAME BACK ABNORMAL for SG....again I think it was 1.003.

PART 1: NOW, again I used a bunch of tums/rolaids and Gatoraid mixed normal strength....I'm wondering if I should have used Gatoraid mixed STRONG with the addition of a bit of SALT in order to pump up my SG....can anyone help/confirm this in any way??

PART 2: My creatine was on the low side of the normal range at 20 mg/dl. I took 5-6 creatine horse pills per day starting 72 hours before the test. Any hints on how I might be able to increase this level...I'd prefer it to be more in the middle to high end of the normal range.

PART 3: The night of loading with all the dilution materials I began vomiting and dealt with this and a very unhappy stomach for 48 hours...I'd like to be able to try this again on the test day (using dilution as backup to substitution) but dont want to be sick again. I think I consummed 10 of the vitamin B complex pills at one time about and hour before my dry run test. I have a feeling this is what made me sick because all I could 'detect' was a small of the pills whenever I voided....any hints on this part would be helpfull!!!!

You are subbing. It sounds you could do both. Do't sweat it, you would have to retest if they weren't happy with the dilluted results

It is possible to overdose on vitamins. Be careful with excessive quantities.

Usually you only need one or two multivitamins approximately 2-6 hours before the test to make your urine a healthy yellow color.

Sec 3 is right, way to many vitamins, just go with one B2 vitamin as it will give you the color you need

Thanks Hawg, Sec3 and Grillmeats...do you think by mixing a stronger Gatoraid with addition of added salt will take care of my low Specific Gravity?

The reason the method includes Gatorade and salt is to raise your specific gravity. More of these would raise it more.

There's no reason to take so many B vitamins. All the Bs do is make your urine yellow so it doesn't look diluted - a minor part of the program. 200 mg of B2 is all you need.

Just do what you are doing. Maybe drink straight Gatorade instaed of any water.

Yeah Ralphie, I made the same mistake and I'm having skin eruptions after 8x daily dosage (B Complex).
