Does anyone know of a way that one could heat urine in 4-5 minutes with a lighter?It would not need to be 98 degrees, just warm enough to seem real.

It would be safer to place the sample container in a ziplock baggie and use hot water to heat the sample up before the trip to the clinic, instead.

And save the lighter for the big smokeout celebration afterwards.

Something about this sounds crazy to me ... 4-5 minutes with a lighter.

Why not tell us some more about the situation and we'll see if there's a solution that doesn't involve you putting butane to a pouch of urine.

Its actually a strange situation. So i'm staying at my borthers house for a few months until I start my job. And my brother is extremely concerned about drug use and no matter what info. I put in front of him he insists I dont use. So I agreed but one day i decided to smoke a bit and he found out and was very angry. So now hes asking me to take a home drug test (Very parentish I know). I know its not right of him to ask me to do that but It extrmemly kind of him to let me use his house so I'm not gonna up and leave because I currently dont have anywhere else. The drug test would probably be administered randomnly.

We posted at the same time, so now I know the reason for the temperature being lax. Stopping smoking while you are staying with your brother is, in my opinion, the right thing to do. It is his house, his rules. It is one thing to protest and object to a law. That is due process.

Your brother's house, hence your brother's rules are not subject to debate. Either live by his rules, or get your own place. What? You say you cannot afford a place of your own yet? Then live by your brother's rules. Common courtesy. Take responsibility and do the right thing.
