Is it possible to purchase a home test at a local drugstore or is something you have to order online? Also what test am I looking for, as far as the name on the package etc? If you can get a test at a drugstore anyone know which ones may carry it. I am in Eastern US and have most of the big chains here.

You can go to any large chain drug store, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. Look in your local yellow pages under "Drug Testing" or "Employer Screening". You can usually get them cheaper through a private drug testing (screening, collection) company. (The THC Dip tests only cost about $0.50 wholesale.) I cannot believe that Walmart is getting $15.00 for them. The brand name is not important, they are all made overseas and shipped to the US. Here, different wholesalers put their labels on them. (There is only about 4-5 different styles).

If everyone stopped buying them where the price is $15, and started going to places like mine where they are sold for about $5, then the price at the large chains would come down.

If you are unable to get to a store, go onto ebay and search under home drug testing, you can buy them in bulk (usually 10 or more) for about $20 per 10 tests, if you don't mind having some extras around for the future. They do expire though, make sure you know when they do (it should be listed on the product description on ebay and it's stamped on the package). Many are good for at least a year. I got a bunch from them and am very pleased.

I forgot about the online option. Make sure, wherever you are getting them, that you check the expiration date. Fresh ones should expire no less than 18 months. We have used expired ones before, with no bad results, but they were only 1 or 2 weeks expired. Also, make sure you store them correctly. Most have a requirement of 36-80 degrees. When you get the package, don't open it up until you intend to use it.
