A quick hello to all..... I have lurked around here for quite some time, but now find myslef in a dilemma.

I got word Sunday night I got the job I was hoping for, but had toked Sunday afternoon. I failed the drug test this morning, but they want me bad enough, 'bosswoman' said to get something to clean me out and come back Wednesday morning to test again. Only she and I knew the results. So....

I am looking at the Clear Choice additive. I just hate to pay THAT much to get it to me by Wednesday. The 'Urine Luck' says that it won't work on, or it is not recommended for instant screens and I assume that is what I did, I peed in the bathroom, went back to her office and we both sat there and watched the little evil line form next to THC.

I guess I really don't know what my damn question is. I am a heavy smoker (at least once or twice a day, not heavy to some, I know.) I am not too keen on taking a pill, tea or anything else.... I have had very bad luck with them in the past and I don't want to rely on just drinking water, unless drinking it the day of REALLY will help.

Any suggestions, advice?

I tried that, saying that I wouldn't be available until Friday afternoon, or some shit, but she is leaving Wednesday afternoon to go out of town and won't be back until next Monday (when I start).

She is the only one that does the testing right now, as I am going to be the HR director (how ironic), so she is kind of doing my job right now.

She already knows your secret and doesn't seem to care, and it sounds like it's just between you two. Why can't you just give it Monday when you start? If she's the only one who does the testing I don't see the problem.

Yea, I see your point.

She has to send the results to the corporate office at least 3 or 4 days prior to any employee starting... or so I was told. Who knows, really. I just know that I have to do it Wednesday morning, even with the tap dance I tried to do to get it to a later day.

BOO.

Well you may just have to spring for the pricey stuff if it's all you can get on such short notice. No one you know could give you a clean substitute I assume?
And there's always dilution as well though i'd just sub it, consider the cost for the product an investment in your future.

I'm confused. On every immunoassay test I've seen, the line forming indicates the absence of the drug.

I wish I could have remembered what the cup looked like better, but a line formed next to everything on the four columns, but on the 3rd column a line formed next to THC and as I went to rinse it out and discard the evidence, I glanced quickly at the writing above them and it said that if a line appeared on the 3rd line of the 3rd column it was a positive.

I am more familiar with the strip tests and some other older methods, I guess.

...and as Neph said considering the cost an investment, I completely agree with.

Ok, so I know I didn't just screw up. I am a redhead, not a blonde. There were 2 lines by THC, one indicating I tested positive.
