I am a heavy user of the MJ. I smoked 2-3 bowls with friends on a daily basis. I thought that would finish my graduate work last fall so i stoped smoking from October 1st to December 12th of 2005. After I found out i was still going to be in school for another semester, I started up again. I again smoked on a daily basis. I smoked from December 12th to February 27th. I have been completely clean since then. I am 5-7, 210lbs, average metabolism. Its been 30 days clean now and I am still failing my home tests. How long do you think it will take for my system to be clean?

Variable. What's your metabolism like? Sounds like you don't work out and/or you're a heavier person. If you really need to pass soon, dilution will probably work.

What's the test for? Legal issues or otherwise? If it's not for legal issues, then you can probably sub clean urine for the test too.

this was quoted from another post about a week ago (give or take a day or two). I have read here that someone can test clean after only 5-7 days, and others take up to 6 weeks or longer. Basically, you just need to keep testing yourself to find out how long YOU take to get clean.
Your size may have something to do with it. It seems that really skinny people test negative on home tests much sooner than muscular or heavy people. This is not a hard and fast rule either, just seems to trend this way.

I mean no offense but at 5'7" and 210lbs you can't be too average of a build. I'm 6'2" and my weight when I'm looking average is about 220-230. Your weight is almost certainly the reason why it's taking a bit longer than it may for others to get clean. Unless you eat like crazy, 4,000-5,000 calories a day, your metabolism can't be just average.

It has been reported on here that it took a person 105 days to clean out. Just keep checking your self so you will know for future reference.

Its now been 47 days and i'm still testing positive. I found out that my test isn't going to be till around 5/15/06. That will give me an adittional 25 days or so. I have a quick question about dilution. I've went through a run where i diluted my self and every think came out ok with the urine validity test except for the specific gravity. I did the dilution according to the N2 guideline. What can I do about this. This is for a engineering job, so i'm sure they will do a validity test. Thanks for all the help.

Maybe take some more salts while doing the dillution method to raise your SG, not sure maybe Lew can help ya on that. If everything is ok just up the amount of what you are lacking to raise the levels.

Also, can you go to a lab and have a test done on your own and get a read out of the Cutoff levels and your levels to see how far above the limit you are? That would give you a little peace of mind I would think, kind of like give you a light at the end of the long tunnel

Not sure how much help this is but, I tested 12 April. I last smoked between 4 and 7 Feb 06. Prior to this date i smoked daily Jan 13 to Feb quite day. Smoked two to three joints a day. I am 5'9" 215 - 220. Do not exercise. I increased water intake in March becaues of doctors request to loose weight, drank more than 64 ozs a day. Did nothing else special to dilute. I took a home test two about two weeks prior to pre-employment test. Passed but still sent sample to lab for additional test (reassurance). Results came back "none decected". See tested and worried. First day of work was yesterday. Pre-employment sample was taken and shipped DHL to Medtox lab. Hope this helps.

Well, its been about 75 days since i last smoked now. This past week, a very faint line started to come up on my home test. It came up negative for about 6-9 tests that I took between tuesday and thurday. But, this weekend when i tested, the faint line didn't show up anymore. I took about 6 tests between friday and saturday, and most came up positive. My test is going to be on 5/22. That will give me appoximatly 83 days of being clean. What do you guys think?
