So I'm getting a pre-employment drug test tomorrow and I have picked up some of Spectrum's finest QuickFix.

Anyway, my one friend mentioned how the labs can (and will) pat you down once you empty your pockets. Is this the case?

I was planning on keeping the QF + Heating Pad either on my waist, or taped to my thigh. If labs do pat down, I'm going to have to go a little more covert (and uncomfortable ) with the hiding.

Any one have a definitive answer?

The test is for pre-employment. It is done at a lab, not at my actual work.

And thanks for the welcome. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to the other parts of the forum once tomorrow is over

I don't think that they will pat you down for a pre-employment test, but I'm no expert.

Hey thanks for the quick response. I'm going to go out on a limb and just tape the darn thing to the inside of my thigh. Hopefully the nurse isn't feeling lonley and wanting to rub up on me

Will report back tomorrow after lunch as to how it went.

And in the mean time, if anyone knows (or even has an opinion) on whether or not labs pat down...PLEASE post. I'll check this before I leave in the morning.

yeah, if u taped it to ur nut sack i dont think theyd pat that anyways, and if she does, just smile and say ur happy to see her, but im pretty sure it would be illegal to fondel the genitelia

If they somehow find out, just walk out and call ur work telling them u were molested

Relay the following to your friend:

Since you're taking a drug test for employment, the lab personnel cannot frisk or otherwise touch you in any way! That is the job of a police officer. And since you are not being placed under arrest, that would constitute groping, which is against the law.

Know your rights and don't be afraid to assert them!

Lew is absolutely right.
They CANNOT pat you down.

They can ask you to empty your pockets and take off your jacket and hat but that's it.

Be sure not to have anything incriminating in your pockets. Like your Quick-Fix receipt.

Believe it or not at one place I've tested they have a "Wall of Shame" with pictures of all the things they have confiscated and little capions saying how they got them. One pic is of a reciept for "Sub-Solution" synthetic urine from the local head-shop. No joke.

Dress nice and go in there confident. Good luck.

Hey thanks for the advice guys. I was not looking forward to shoving that bottle under my sackagawea. I'm just going to tape it to the inside of my thigh

I'll be taking the test in 4 or 5 hours. Will report back and let you all know how it went!

no dont tape it on your thigh that would be obvious! unless you wear a really long shirt or jacket over it.
i really doubt this, but if you employ for anything related to military, they will watch you piss, my father who was in the military sometimes had to watch and make sure other soldiers werent diluting their samples
