Hey all quick fix users, I am just curious about something. I have used Quick Fix successfully twice in the past, and both times the synthetic did not come up to the line that the nurse wanted me to fill to. She accepted the sample without question, but I am wondering, has anyone ever had an issue with the Quick Fix not providing an adequate sample quantity? I know that they can conduct a test with the amount that spectrum gives you, but I am wondering if some people are just strict and won't accept the urine because you did not fill up to the line. Thanks for any help.

100% of the time, we ASK for more than we need. If we asked for the exact amount we need, we run the risk of coming up just short and having you give another sample. We cannot add to a sample already given. If a specimen is insufficient, (but has good temp) we must throw it out and have you give another void. BTW, if the temp is not good on an insufficient, we must send that in along with the second void.

I also came up just short of the line with QF 4.0. Luckily they didn't care.
