I am in a situation where I had to take a urine test, and will probably never be informed that I passed, only if I failed or was dilute.

I think I was fine, as I home tested a couple times and passed. Was clean for 21 days and am skinny with fairly fast metabolism. Problem is I did try to dilute just to make sure. Figured that it would be better to retest several days later if it came back diluted, being that much cleaner, then risk a positive.

Problem is, now I don't know when to feel safe that I passed and enjoy a celebratory bowl, just in case I have to go back to retest. Its been a week and haven't received a call from MRO or anyone else, so I'm feeling pretty good, but just wanted to get some posts from people with first hand experience as to how long it took for test results to come back, either diluted or otherwise.

Less than a week. You could search this forum and find out what the time frame for your test is as it has been discussed over and over again.

Thanks SEC. I have read through many of the threads, and appreciate the great information you have contributed. And I did get the impression that after a week I was probably in the clear, but most of the information has to do with pre-employment tests, where the employer makes clear that the test was passed.

From one thread, Grillmeats gave basically these times...The next day after the collection (test was shipped to LabCorp) they would have the initial test complete, if it had to go for GC/MS testing, that could add three more days. So wasn't sure that I would definatly had heard after 5 business days, if it was diluted or failed. But it sounds like I would have. Thanks again.

IF your specimen tested positive, you SHOULD have heard from the MRO BEFORE an employer or anyone else got the results of a test. (If guidelines are followed). with-in 72 hours (give or take a couple) of giving your specimen, the MRO should call you to discuss any positive results BEFORE issuing a report.
